Bring a friend maybe. I died twice on my mage to him last night, but my monk friend was able to revive me to continue the battle. When i did him 1st time round on my monk i had no issue though. It was bugging me that a boss death meant a reset of the last few minutes as well. First time it happened i thought i had been hit by some lag artifact. Edit: I miss there is no "Council" type boss as well. That was the bit I always looked forward to the most in D2.

How big are those plots? Are we talking skyscrapers here? I really want to try something with perspective involved, but diablo and all that.

I have toons at several different levels now, so feel free to whisper me if i'm solo and i might be tempted to switch to another character.

I think they brought in limited respect after a while in D2. It did suck that you had to pick a build before you started, and often had to hold off spending points until some level cap was reached. It did however force replayability. Specs could be quite different within a class like wearbear Druid v elemental Druid v summoner Druid. in the current system everyone can try every class skill on a character so once you have levelled on Mage you have levelled them all. I'm currently holding off plaing a barb so that I have a class left to play when my friends finish moving country and get set up again. Twig: I cry efery tim when they mention the horadrim too:( I think bliz had the whole companion cube thing going a long time before valve got in on the action.

Are they going to integrate the eu and us friends lists at any point? I'm sad that I can see both at once. The story is awesome, I have been this energised by a tale of betrayal and murder since the 1995 coronation street Christmas special. Also, if anyone is on the eu side, poo and wrestlevania were awesome enough to furnish me with a legendary recipe! Not sure if I can make and trade it with other people, but it is a monk staff. Me and my friends just got propositioned by a polish guy who wanted the relations with the people with the tongue in the anal. I wish you could all see the actions that went along with this , most especially the in the anal bit. I guess the lesson is don't hang around on doorsteps late at night.

The best fun i've had is with Patters. We pulled two huge groups of enemies, and while patters was fleeing (thanks) he managed to pull an extra elite group on top of us. funtimes were had:) I'm enjoying it more as things get harder. Really looking forward to the harder difficulty levels!

Don't do it. I got oblivion in the hopes that my old min spec machine would be bearable. It wasn't. I cried. In warcraft i used a macro to reduce my settings to below supported standards. It still chugged when the exciting bits happened (hey, i missed my last stand again because there was an extra visual effect). That said, there is an option in Diablo 3 to set the settings ridiculously low. Might be worth a try if you haven't found it yet. I just came accross it last night while making sure everything was set to its highest setting.

I had that: delete the file and then run the launcher in admin mode. Then, deactivate admin mode once installed, because that causes another issue when you launch the game! Bliz games are so much fun to install. Once while patching WoW, i ended up with a US version of the game, just out of the blue. Edit: and don't forget to check your region when you finally do get to the character screen. ya, check the region. i was surprised that my real ID friends were missing (and that i couldn't start a game), but blizz had be set to the US servers for some reason.

This is awesome, but its only a matter of time before someone looses inspiration and is forced to sent their thumb by post as their only method of articulation.

It seems some of you might be getting invites from the US version of the game i was trying to log into, or something. Its rather confusing. If you get two invites from me just accept them all. I'm that cool.

Those playing in the EU, check your account settings. I think mine was trying to log into the US which was causing trouble for me. Also, 1 invite still left.

I played wow for long enough too see a few bliz launches. Oh god they burned. Despite my previous reservations, I'm probably going to get this in few days. loot fever is starting to set in!

Running in to get tower aggro and Tide hunter aggro isn't the best idea.
