I do that every time someone says Ketchup (we call it Tomato sauce more often here). Also, i will generally declare all my tiny problems to be "The wost mess I've ever gotten myslef into". I'm not sure that anyone else knows what it is from, but my friends have learned to expect, and sometimes preempt it.

What exactly confused you? Was there interface issues, or did the movement rules themselves cause trouble? You should have pmed me and we could have devised some moves for you until you got more used to playing:)

Well, if you have a lich, i also like support veno (he can be amazing in a coordinated gank) and dazzle (needs a bit more practice to get the tombstone thingy down right, also, don't pick V axe). I just go support on lich. Wand > boots > mech > drums> aghs/force. wards when they come off cooldown. nomnomnom. If there hasn't been a 1st blood by the time you get to 6 i just run in and explode them with my ulti:D

I can't stand warlock. The long cooldowns mean that if you make a mistake you are often left sitting with nothing to do for the next 20s while the battle rages. I also just don't enjoy his skillset. I recommend lich, lich is awesomepants, and rather forgiving on the mana front for beginners.

I've not finished act 2, so I'm going to put my fingers in my ears and not read the thread, but is there a way to know when i have triggered a checkpoint? I just had to watch and interact the start of act II as i exited at a bad time last time. Really loving it though!

And oh god the terrible dagon whisps still wandering around. Did you guys know that whisp can solo any character in the game by teleporting in and ... on no he is dead.

For me his skillset looks fun, but when you play him he isn't very exciting. Also, if there is a stealth character on the team already i won't go for him. Tidehunter fills a similar role, and he is more fun.

Ah, well yes from that perspective. There is a website i used to play on. its free so we can just sign up and make a private game. the web interface is handy for sending press and putting in the orders and it emails you a nifty map with updates after each turn.

Sort of...ish. Not really. its simultanious turn based for one. For another, there is a huge emphasis on actual inter-power diplomacy to get things done. Its simply not possible at the start of the game to get anywhere playing solo. There is no random chance to decide your fate.

You need 7. It can be played with less, but it's a bit like making a jigsaw with pieces missing. If anyone is wondering time commitments, it may take a few weeks. Turns are generally slow to allow time for the diplomacy to happen. I used to play 2 day turns, 1 day then to say where to send a routed army. You can turn off weekend etc too. If you can't reach the website after the start, the game can be played via email.

Don't forget to flick the switches on my floating pyramid thing. Or do, since it often crashes people nearby.

So, apparently since we are terrible Gwardien, we should just go for a push strategy when we 5 man. Works for me! Back to some broodmother.
