I too agree that the "snarky" shtick is getting way played out. Whenever I write my amateurish news and articles, I always find it very easy to be cynical whenever a money-grabbing sequel to Warfight: Return of the Bald Space Marine is announced, but in the end, it's always a better feeling to be friggin' stoked about video games. It also usually makes it easier to write/talk about them.

Just wait until you get to the part where Mario takes an innocent toad, rips the top of his head off, and uses it as a trampoline to reach a platform. It's amazing how much brutality they managed to convey with the paper aestethics.

Why don't you try for yourself? (PS, this is my hometown.)

Caught Tron today, the plot was diffuse at best, but the effects were pretty. That is, until we stepped outside and saw the sky covered in green, dancing Northern lights. Nature beats computers every time.

I played it last week. Some dialogue didn't play when it should, and shadows of characters were broken in one way or another on every settings. Also, like Nappy said, the new clunky Telltale controls, optimized for consoles. 3:

Ok, played through, and enjoyed it quite a bit. While it mostly relied on "hey remember this guy/thing from the movies?", they still provided some clever writing and interesting plot turns. I had some technical issues, but they were negligible. As long as they rely more on their own writing and introduce more setpieces (and timepieces) through the season, then it's all good in the hood. (full review for those who care.) Also, on the radio in the soup kitchen, the sportsball announcer clearly says "here goes Rodkin" or something to that effect. I couldn't pick out any other TT names, though.

Do not listen to them, The Last Express has nothing to do with Interrail at all. ...Have you seen Under Siege 2?

My girlfriend has been looking at the ZTE Blade too, would love to hear your feedback on it.

For those unawares, "lorem ipsum" is the first words, and the title of, filler text layout people use before they have the actual text.

Merry christmas Thumbs! I got an external HD, an electric razor, and some other cool stuff, but my real gift was spending christmas with my long distance girlfriend, especially seeing her experiencing the Norwegian christmas for the first time.

That sucks. >< Julian "Rabbit" Murdoch on Gamers With Jobs has talked a bit about gaming with epilepsy. He also wrote this. He seems like a welcoming guy, so I am sure you can try to e-mail him about it, ask for advice or something? I guess he might even not have the same type of epilepsy as you, but it's worth a shot. =)

I found your company and kisses very appealing.

I have the same, but it helps tons once you see them talking for me. It took ages for me to distinguish between Jake and Nick, I usually just went by WHAT the said. (strategy games: Nick, off-hand joke: Jake.) So yeah, I guess I would recommend watching their office videos? There you usually see all of them talking. As for personalities, I find all of them funny, but I do prefer Brad and Vinny, possible because their personalities are slightly less... to the extreme? And yeah, Jeff Gertsmann was the one that got fired, presumably over K&L. The other guys there left partly because of that mess.

I... wouldn't mind a Vanquish. <.< I've finished Bayonetta, so that should go to someone else. I was dubious to the Vanquish demo, but it has gotten so much praise that I've been wanting to play it. PS: If I didn't like it as well, I would swear to send it to the next Thumb.

All of the above are good picks. I also will jump at any chance to recommend The Blues Brothers, where they showcase a lot of artists from a specific era.

Why is the name of this thread not "Mass 3ffect"?

So it seems Hugo Strange is the top villian, just like in the upcoming Nolan film, Dark Knight: Erection. 4Ays_ZW7kNE It took me a while to decide if this was CG or FMV, and while the game probably wont look that good, it's still impressive. Since I'm slowly growing more and more sceptical of Dragon Age 2, this is quickly becoming my most anticipated title of the 11.

Lolcatogol, the ancient god of lolcats?

In places like Benelux and Scandinavia you should be fine with English, I think. My girlfriend, for example, is from Brazil, but is currently taking the "international programme" Masters in city development in Gothenburg, so everything is done in English. Bigger, more traditional countries like Germany and France know less English, at least that's the impression I've gotten from my travels/my friends there. I have no clue about the education, though, which I assume you're after since it's the tuition nonsense you're pissed about? (PS: There is no such thing as tuitions in Norway. It is, however, quite an expensive country, so a student loan (you get those from the state) or a job would maybe be in order.) (PPS: We also have a royal family, but they're Mostly Harmless.)
