  1. Idle Trenched

Well, that one was easy. Who wants to... Trench? Let's do some... Trenching? Let's play that video game that they made. I got this the other day, but I've only been playing with random internet people, and I can tell it would be WAY more satisfying to play with people I know, with coordination/dicking around with friends/without jumping randomly between the missions. I know some of you have it already, so get on board. My gamertag is Herminator64.
  2. Plug your shit

I have put my efforts in preventing the Big Dogs from overtaking us all into a Tumblr: http://howtostoparobotuprising.tumblr.com/ Would love feedback and/or sharing of the link.
  3. Google Plus aka Emerald Sea

Ok, so I'm in now. It's definitely right in between facebook and twitter, with a twist of Google. I like the Circles concept, I am always annoyed about all the stupid people I went to school with on facebook, sharing inane things, so I can just shove them off in a circle somewhere, while still having other with people I actually care about (and you can "follow" people like on twitter, even not knowing them). Though, the best potential so far is the "hangout" thing. Right now I'm just playing stupid youtube videos with my girlfriend and some buddies, and I can see this being a regular occurrence in the future. I got to invite The Toblix through some gallery wizardry, so if you want to try the same, send me your e-mail I guess?
  4. Happy Birthday!

Godt nytt år, Toblix and Subbes. To celebrate, I believe this is a pic of Toblix?
  5. Obligatory comical YouTube thread

This is in Portuguese, but the message is still quite clear: gogjQiuI9_w
  6. Plug your shit

That's great! My immediate thought was to get some kind of VR goggles and hook the feed up, to see if you could actually navigate while watching yourself in third person.
  7. Unnecessary Comical Picture Thread

I enjoy how Jak 3 and Uncharted 3 are basically identical designs.
  8. General Video Game Deals Thread

So I hear some guys called "Ben" and "Dan" made adventure games about themselves? Narcissists. Those games are for the cheap on "Steam" today or whatever. Nobody on this forum likes adventure games anyways.
  9. Ocarina of Time 3D

In the original at least, you could use the stick, d-pad and L/R to alter the notes of the Ocarina, giving you access to pretty much the full spectrum of notes. New mission: Someone figure out how to play Macarena on the Ocarina, and then Youtube the fuck out of it.
  10. The threat of Big Dog

    I don't know!
  11. The threat of Big Dog

    You magnificent bastard.
  12. The threat of Big Dog

It was my first day at my summer job at the hospital today, working in the cantina. I come out in my white frock in the underground hallway, and I hear an automated voice say "Watch out, robot trolley underway." I look over, and see a flat, wheeled little guy with sinister yellow eyes roll through the hallway. Did I accidentally start working at Aperture Science? Turns out these things transport things along the long hallways that connect each building of the hospital. They follow their route, stop if someone blocks their path, and they even take the elevators. pOmCANWm6Xc I always considered plauges and zombies to be the biggest apocalyptic threats originating in hospitals, I never even considered a medical robot uprising. I have already started to build an EMP weapon out of batteries and copper wire. P.S.: I blame my robot paranoia fully on this thread, and by extension, Jake.
  13. Ocarina of Time 3D

Stop it! I can't afford a 3DS right now. Worst part is, I usually always play either OoT or Majoras Mask when I'm home for the summer, but this is the first year I didn't have time for this.
  14. Movie/TV recommendations

  15. Plug your shit

Not really my shit to plug, but I just think it's badass. So in Norway, the main TV/radio broadcaster is funded by license fees, instead of ads. It can be annoying to get a straight-up bill twice a year, but they make up for it by doing cool shit like streaming everything, putting their programs on bittorrent, and now this. This is a full five-day uninterrupted broadcast of the coastal express going from the west to the far north of Norway. But if you don't live in Norway, you can simple stream it, from a site with an interactive map. Or! you can download it later, via Bittorrent, in 1080 HD, and do whatever you want with it, since it's Creative Commons licensed. In fact to encourage this, they're having a contest to see who can make the coolest thing with the 8000+ minutes of raw footage. What fascinates me so much about this is the guts of it all. It is so, so different from the sitcom/reality-show, lowest common denominator style of "hey, a lot of people say they like this, so lets make more of this, so we sell more ads". I'm rambling at this point, but if this at all intrigues you, definitely read up on the details and reasoning here.
  16. Tabletop RPGs

Fuck, left the character file on my puter at home, wont reach it until late next week, so I can't input it in Obsidian.
  17. E3 2K11

Speaking of BG&E2, there's a quote floating around that it is now a "next generation of consoles title".
  18. E3 2K11

Gonna be busy writing news for our site, but would love to join to hear the funnny Thumb remarks.
  19. Plug your shit

Good news: I have exactly 80 Microbucks to spare. Bad news: XBLINGS are not available in my region.

    Thanks guy!

Had my birthday today! Here are my sweet presents: Portal 2 and Wright pack from my Girlfriend, who also made a great cake! She knows me too well.

Definitely seems like you are more of an East Berlin kind of guy. When we were there, Our hostel was in East Berlin, where I loved seeing all the crazy old Soviet places, while my girlfriend is more of the classical tourist, preferring the typical goals in West. In fact, my favourite place was a pizzeria run by a bunch of Italian punks, with ponytails and arms full of tattoos, where the walls were covered in the signatures of bands that had been there, and all the art was old communist propaganda. It also had an open kitchen, so these guys were constantly screaming Italian across the restaurant. (If you want to go there, the subway stop is Senefelderplatz, should be right by there.) Also cool: used record/book shops and other vintage stuff.
  23. Tabletop RPGs

Don't worry Dan, I've already tracked down a pic of a Warforged in a stylish cape and hat that I'm coloring. As for introduction, it fits if the party finds and activates my character near the beginning.

The Opera! Also the Royal Palace, Akershus fort, City hall, and the other tourist traps. You can take a boat from Aker peer out to the half-island of Bygdøy, where there are a cluster of museums, including a Viking one with two ships and everything that was found with them. There's also Nansen's ship, and a folk museum. There's a giant park full of naked people* called Vigelandsparken, very nice for a picnic. There's always cool concerts and events going on, especially if you are of the metal persuasion. Elm Street and Rockefeller are good rock places to check out, or just find an event calendar online. *: The naked people are mostly statues.
