Put a bow on Mario Galaxy 2. Inferior to the original, but still good, and here's why. The initial whimsy of Mario Galaxy was enough to carry the game on it's own. Seeing Mario in an entirely new scenario and set of places was great. Add to this the incredible music, lush visuals and great pacing, and it was a neat game. Mario Galaxy 2 had all these...but that's it. Nothing felt particularly...new. Now don't get me wrong, it's still an amazing game, and I really liked it. But it didn't really give me that same euphoric feeling that SMG did. Combine that with the fact that it really did drag at the end, in regards to once you had to get to the last 3/4 galaxys, it really did feel like I was being forced back into extremely tough purple star/speedruns/clone runs. Still a great game, and infintely repeatable, but if you really enjoyed SMG for the reasons I mentioned, you might prefer to stick with your memories of that.

Things just went from panicky to best! I have a really hard time being patient, and waiting for results, in this case from my university course. I live out in the sticks, so getting them by mail is gonna take fucking forever, so I managed to get them online. They were to be released today, at an unnamed time, so I've been up since midnight checking nonstop. They seemed to go "Live" at about 20 past 11, and I was presented with: Name Carl Howard Course BA(H) FILM AND MEDIA STUDIES Year 2 Result Pass and Proceed to next Level Crisis averted, now maybe I can go shower off ALL this cold sweat. And get pancakes for breakfast, before buying minecraft as a congratulatory present!

Once I get my laptop back from the repair place, I'll definately play again

My real computer broke, and I've been out all day. Bad circumstances.

I am, in theory, but my real PC is broke at the moment, so it's gonna take a while for me to get parts together, so i'd be late on!

Hey, you don't need to explain yourselves, I'm pretty sure we all just kinda assumed this regardless. Even without reader mail, it was still one of the best episodes so far. The opening like 15 minutes had me laughing so hard I woke my house up!

I think we all know the answer to that. I used to play that game EVERY DAY on my N64 with my unbeatable team "Simply the Best". Holy hand grenade angling and ninja roping my way across entire maps. I loved that game.

Nah, I've had to have one every year to get by. I don't have time for a job and to travel/do my degree at the same time, it's too much stress/work piling up. I feel incredibly shitty about the whole situation to be honest. I feel like such a dirtbag to have to pull out on my friend like this, we were excited as hell to get this done, but the financial rug has been pulled out from underneath me, and I'd just barely manage. I mean for starters, I have to pay the initial £900 several weeks before my first loan payment comes in, so I'm having to clutch and scramble at what little money I have left over from my second year at university, and it's just really stressing me out to the point of losing major sleep. I mean I'm sure she'll understand the situation, but begrudgingly. I feel like the worst person.

Sorry to derail this into despair, but I've got pretty major issues with "Life". So, I was meant to move in with a friend for the third year of University in a privately owned flat/halls, for the convenience of location (For the last 2 years I've travelled from home due to money issues being far too high). However, I hit a minefield, again. Because I'm a 4th year Uni student going into third year (Had to drop out in first due to illness), I'm receiving less money this year. My fear is that if I move out, I'll BARELY be able to manage it. I mean, I'll maybe JUST ABOUT have enough money to get by, but when I spoke to a buddy abuot it today, he said that's probably not the best idea. If I'm broke, that leads to stress, which leads to a poor work output. Not ideal for my final year project, naturally. I'm sure I can get out of my flat contract if I phone them, losing only my deposit, however, I'm feeling incredibly shitty about my friend. We were excited to be moving in together, and now I might have to pull out simply because I can't afford it with the money I'm getting this year. It means I'd have to travel in from home, but that's only an hour a day on a train, and I'd save a metric ton of money. If I did pull out, she wouldn't lose her flat or whatever, it's privately owned halls, it'd all still be fine. The issue I'm wrestling with is kind of...moral I guess, I feel bad about pulling out on her, we both really were looking forward to this, but as mentioned, with the most minimal financial backing, I just don't think I can make it. What do you guys think? Any thoughts appreciated.
