I just watched a movie called "Mr Nobody(2009)". It was fantastic. It tells several stories which revolved around the choices in which a young boy made, and how they shape his future. The plot bounces between these 4/5 different possible "Futures", and ends in a magnicifcent finale. The movie has a very strange and disjointed sense of narrative explaination, which I think makes the film very watchable. It reminded me of a movie I saw a while ago called "Wristcutters", although I suppose you could draw some parallels to Donnie Darko, and that kind of movie. A strange sense of muted surrealism makes the entire picture strangely entrancing. In essence, it plays with several philosophical themes, such as the reality and illusion of choice, and what it can or can't lead to in the end. For example, one of the futures he lives in revolves around the concept of the butterfly effect-in fact, the entire movie plays with this concept, and I really enjoyed it. I would really recommend people check it out if you like sci-fi, drama, or a movie from a brilliant Belgian director. Or if you just like to have movies make you think a little.

Will give it a go someday soon, cheers Pattski. Now I need an ethernet cable... -
I think the MC thread in the "Gaming" forum has a little trick, but I can't find it.

I think it's the way in which you need to login to an account (Private owned ISP or some shit) that fuddles it up a bit. -

It really bums me out that this is a console only digital release. As someone who can't get consoles online, it's infuriating that I can't play things like this. I wish they'd release it on disc too, sigh. -
You're never allowed above ground. Bloody elf. /grumble

I can't stop laughing when I see that picture Toblix, you're such a fiend.

It's more Layton goodness really. A lot of great backstory, and some riveting revelations as the story goes on.

There's a mod out which lets us convert out DF saves into MC, which I'm very excited about. Think of how fast we'll be able to get some mining done! Will repost with link when I get in, but I'm at uni now.

I recently burned through Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, and was pleasantly surprised. With all the previous Layton games, I tend to get halfway in, and I just fall out of it. Not with an active "I'm done with this shit" kinda thing, more of a product of it being "Pick up, do 2 puzzles and get back to paying attention in lectures". But I finally pushed through this one, made it to the end, and thouroughly enjoyed it. The puzzle to story ratio was perfect, as usual-with a fantastic story which really explains a bit more of Laytons past. I don't know how I feel about the 4th and 5th games, however. They're already OUT in Japan, and we already know that they are prequels. In a way, UF ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I'd love to know how it carries on, but with us being 2 games behind, and neither of them being the sequel, I'm not holding out too long. And the ending where Would recommend!

It's Nintendo. Didnt you know that to them, $300 is £300?

It doesn't, I'm afraid. Water will repropogate itself should it be surrounded by 2 waters, as I'm sure you know. While lava is technically the same code, it just won't work like that, or it'd be TOO EASY

I love how "Toblix complains" is one of the tags. Perfect!

Okay, Patters has sold me. Will be joining this server more in the future Edit: You'll see me as Fallen189

Yeah sorry about that, I must have misread majorly. Sombre#203 @Europe Would love to get some games in with people! Trying to learn Terran, had some interesting games with Patters before. YOU MAY OR NOT NEED TO SEND ALL YOUR PEOPLE TO DEFEND MY BASE.

It's fair. You're posting on here, so you know how games work. It's just being very patient, and not rushing. Some bits are rough, sure, but most of the game is fine.

I probably got it wrong. Will check in the morning. Just watched 4 hours of X-Factor and a mini-doc on chicken hierachy. beyond tired.

I made a VERY basic guide for things like time and movement. It goes like: Clouds go north Sun rises in the east Sun sets in the west Cartograph displays East as north (IE: Top of the map) Daytime: 9 minutes Sunset: 1m30 Nighttime: 7m Sunrise: 1m30

Whoops, I'm actually Europe. If anyone wants to play some, or teach me/bear with an idiot, laugh as I hit 5000 minerals, please feel free to add me

Sombre#130 Never played before, so I'm tentative to get into things. I played before and a SHIT LOAD of laser void rays blew me up bigtime, when I wasn't even ready. I have a LOT to learn.

Nope. Make a door, and seal up all holes. You'll be fine! Spam torches to detract them from spawning and you'll be cracking. You might have found metal and you just don't know it. It's stone blocks with yellow bits in it. Dump it in a forge for free steel/iron!
