Great turn out and matches, thanks for coming to the first of what I hope will be many games! How did the other team do? Chris, Pirate and myself made it to wave 9 several times, and FINALLY pushed through to wave 10 in an incredibly lucky move when my Eldritch storm cleared out everything. When is the best time for you guys to all get together again? I had a ball, so I'm down for a lot more Last Standing and such. Would the same time tomorrow/Monday be okay for you guys? Tezukas Black Jack is probably one of the greatest selection of manga you can ever read. It's a wry, cynical medical manga. Can't reccomend it enough.

I just cleared the second case. It's a very different game to the earlier ones, seems a bit easier. furthermore, it has my alltime most hated thing in which you need to point at a certain point and present evidence, that's tough. Regardless, this game has taken over my lifeagain, like all AA games do. It's so good.

Good to see a mild response, this pleases me! I'm pretty much ready to roll anytime after Friday, simply due to a large amount of uni work. Saturday, maybe we could get some LS going at about...6/7pm UK time? Which I believe is roughly mid day for Chris. EA Presents: A farewell to arms, legs and heads.

I'm somewhat torn currently. This is just for a presentation which proposes my dissertation, and for this I'm basically just talking about online fan communities, and the products they can essentially churn out. It's a hard one to define in such a short 2000 word "Speech" as it were. The concept of cosplay comes to mind, and the idea that Final Fantasy 4(?) was a big fan translation. I think it's just things like that, that I'm trying to primarily focus on, something to the effect of "The internet can be used to bring people of varying interests and ideals together to do great things: video games". Everything said so far however, has been splendid, thanks guys!

Yes and no. It's good because it's never been easier to come across games, and there's so much great things to play at the moment. However, there's also far too many games out at the moment. How am I meant to beat Assassins Creed 2, Civilzation 4 AND pass university with only 24 hours in the day?

Windowed mode is the future, dude. Especially for dual wielding Spelunky/Peggle.

I've not tried out the "Multiplayer" beacuse I know it'll be starcraft syndrome. Last Stand, however, just throws you into a huge arena, and you fight till the last man, ala horde mode from Gears 2.

Just played a random game with matchmaking, I can see myself learning to love this. However, I got yelled at because "I was level 1 and a noob", which I threw out there at the start. Yikes!
