I couldn't think of anything before, but this toenail talk reminds me that I have had my right big toe's nail basically destroyed, twice. The first time I was outside and ran to go inside through my garage, and stubbed my toe on a cement step. Blood everywhere, the nail didn't completely fall off but it was pretty bad. Then I forget how long after that, but I was playing with some neighborhood kids in my back yard barefoot, and stubbed my toe on the ground, really hard apparently, and basically the same thing happened. This time the nail eventually fell off but a "new" one had already started to grow under it, and to this day my right big toenail looks gross. Like I said I can't remember exactly how long between the two incidents, but I estimate they were 10 years ago.

So guys, am I a kickass medic or what?

I agree with most of you that I like extra physical goods, but generally exclusive DLC is annoying. That said I rarely go for limited editions, the latest I can remember getting is WoW: Wrath of the Lich King, which was very much worth it to me. Came with an amazing hardcover art book (main thing I wanted), awesome box, soundtrack, making-of dvd (don't really care about this), mousepad, and in-game frostwyrm pet (an exception to not liking dlc, vanity stuff like this can be cool). That was $70 I believe, which was $30 more than the standard edition. I will probably be getting the Cataclysm limited edition as well if it has similar goodies.

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the digital version of the game and the boxed version? Only thing I'm wondering about is whether the boxed version will require the DVD to be in the drive when you play. I refused to pre-order from Gamestop, but I see Amazon has the same deal going for the beta, so I'm tempted to pre-order from there. But I don't want to get the boxed version if it's gonna require the disc in the drive.

I never figured out my crashing problem with either King's Bounty game, pretty shitty that it was never patched.

Same here, otherwise I would have killed Dwayne, he was a loser.I'd like to eventually pick up the two episodes for this, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I definitely agree they didn't get Guybrush "right" again. I wouldn't say I dislike his look (I also got used to it in SoMI:SE), but it could definitely could be better.But overall I am loving the look of it, pretty sure Guybrush is my only complaint. Think it's fairly faithful to the original art, but I can definitely see the issue with the contrast.

I only get a few spam emails a day, and Gmail catches them all for the spam filter. But they are all either for vicodin, or these scams people have posted. Also, a handy feature on Gmail to get rid of spam that makes it to your inbox is to mark it as spam, and sometimes Gmail will attempt to automatically unsubscribe you from whatever mailing list it is.

Definitely getting it for 360 here. Game is looking dope, I really can't wait for it. I hadn't really paid much attention to this game till recently but now I'm excited.

Not really sure about gaming laptops for those prices. Seems like if you're looking for discrete graphics most are going to be $700+. I have a Lenovo ideapad Y510 (not a current model but the Y series is the gaming/media models) and it has a 1.8GHz dual core, 2gb of RAM, and nvidia 8600M GT video card. It is probably more than what you're looking for, as it can run Dragon Age with the settings turned down. But it is all I have experience using so I can't recommend much else. I think it's cool that Sam and Max is being released on iPad, and there will probably be some other cool games, but overall I think the device is garbage. It's basically just a huge iPod touch with a few exclusive apps, and comes with all the problems of the touch and iPhone. You still can't see flash; you still can't multitask (#1 reason I don't want it); the app system is still closed. Apple is just too fucking stubborn to admit that these are problems and fix them (at least the first two). I really do wish the iPad was something I wanted, I generally like Apple's products, but it's not something I can get behind. edit: I think I duplicated a lot of what's been said in here, I didn't read the thread first, but I basically feel the same as that NYT review posted above.

For anyone far enough into the game, how many balls do you typically use to catch a legendary? I am finding it taking far more than I remember using on the legendaries in Diamond and earlier games, but friends of mine are having an easy time catching all of them. Like, one friend of mine used only 3 or 4 ultra balls on Lugia where it took me 30+. Another used 2 poke balls. :| It has taken me 20+ ultra balls on every legendary I've caught, usually over 30. Suicune (only level 47 or so) took 60 ultra balls. Am I just really unlucky? This is just baffling me as I do the same things anybody does to catch a legendary (paralyze it and get it's HP down to 1). Also, the level curve once you get 16 badges is ridiculous. The elite four champion has level 70+ pokemon, none of mine were above 60 when I got the 16th badge (now I have 2 60+'s but still). So I haven't re-challenged them yet, been mostly going around trying to get the legendaries and other pokemon I haven't caught while doing a bit of grinding.

Nope. I remember when I first had the problem I did a bunch of reading on the Steam forums to see different ways which people fixed it, but none of it worked for me. Just booted up Armored Princess and it didn't even get through the opening cutscene before it crashed.
