LucasForums represent! At first I somehow missed the ending, I dunno if I was listening to it on my ipod and forgot to press pause and took my earbuds out and let it finish or what. So I was pretty confused by the title at first. But I went back and finished it today. gg Jake.

I've had mixed luck with GameStop. On some occasions I'll run into an employee who will actually have a conversation with me and not hassle me about pre-orders or whatever, but other times it's the opposite. During the school year I don't have a car so I either order from Amazon or go to Meijer if it's a game I know they'll carry first day as the bus goes by there. I'll probably be doing a lot more shopping on Amazon, I've gotten $10 credits from both ODST and Brutal Legend and even with shipping their prices are cheaper most of the time.

Yeah, I just watched the bonus round footage where they discuss it and that is what they make it sound like, which I was also surprised by. I thought most of the game would be like the demo, hack and slash and driving. I have no doubt I'll still enjoy it though, guess we'll find out how much of the game is the RTS part soon.

My copy should come in the mail tomorrow. I agree that the release did sort of sneak up on me. Can't wait to play it.

Yeah, the overall marketing campaign has definitely been worse for Dragon Age than Mass Effect 2, though I think out of all the trailer, Subject Zero is still the worst between the two games. I think it's like some of you said, they just don't know how to market to the old-school RPG audience. I would say the most recent game like this was Neverwinter Nights 2 though that didn't have near the marketing push as this game or the success of Oblivion.

I can't say first-hand (don't have a PS3), but my friend is always whining about the slow download speeds on PSN. For me XBL speeds seem average.

I still can hardly believe that. Obviously you need something else along with the wand thingy since it doesn't have near enough buttons but this is just silly. Also RE4Wii is one of my favorite games of all time.

I picked it up yesterday and played it for 45 minutes or so. I would say overall it's pretty fun but can get frustrating if you let her fall at the same place more than 1 time in a row as you get sent all the way back to the start of the level. You set the pieces with a grid system which has positive and negative tradeoffs, it's a little harder to control that way but on the other hand you know how Sofi will react to a piece in a certain position without having to worry about it being 1 pixel off. I'd say it's worth the $10. I'll probably write a full review once I finish it.

to Symphony of the Night, that is one of my favorite games of all time. I got it on XBLA a while ago but never beat it, probably made it 75% through or so. I had already played it multiple times on psone though.

Team Gizka has been working on that thing for years, I just don't see them ever finishing. Even with the team that has released something, it's so long after that game was released I'm not really that interested in going back and playing it again.

Yeah I would say Mirror's Edge was in my top 3 games of 2008. I just absolutely love the art style + the running. I still could bitch and moan about the bad parts of it all day long, but I think the good stuff outweighs it by enough to more than offset it.

Most people didn't like the end to Mirror's Edge, but I didn't mind it. Without spoiling anything, I thought it was nice to see a more personal story rather than a "save the city/country/world/galaxy" that we're used to.

Maybe this is expensive and I just don't know what a normal flight costs, but I got a round trip ticket from Detroit to San Diego for like $375 which seemed pretty good to me, I had never flown though. The flights were also like 4 months apart so maybe that had to do with it but it was with Frontier if that helps.

I'd consider it depending on when it is and how busy I am at the time. I love conventions so definitely interested, we'll see if it works out or not.

Wow, really? I think most Steam games still have a CD key if that is what you need, but I have it for 360 so I don't know where you download the PC DLC.

Well SC2 was originally slated for 2009 and is essentially done afaik, the only reason for the delay was so that they could implement some new battle.net features. So I'm pretty confident it will be out next year. Blizzard has also said we can expect 2 games from them next year. Didn't say which but definitely will be SC2 and WoW Cataclysm.Also, yeah I think NSMB Wii is coming out this year.

I'm an Amazing fan over Ultimate for Spider-Man, but I used to get the comics monthly until they went 3 times a month when I dropped it. So I'm not sure which trades they've made of it recently aside from Civil War (which had some good parts), but I'd recommend looking into it.

I agree with you Nachimir about the parts with the cops being no good, I did not enjoy the combat much of this game. I just love the running part though and think it is so well done, and such a beautiful game. I wish rather than being forced to fight, you could choose to run around the cops.

Games I'm buying this year: Brütal Legend Dragon Age: Origins Modern Warfare 2 Assassin's Creed 2 Left 4 Dead 2 I'll buy Gay Tony eventually, but still haven't beat the main GTA IV story. Original 2009 games that are now 2010: Alpha Protocol Final Fantasy XIII Splinter Cell Conviction BioShock 2 Starcraft 2 Was Mass Effect 2 ever 2009? These are the games I am hyped for, so to me it looks like there is still plenty left in 2009 but the games coming in 2010 I am probably looking forward to more.

Just beat ODST a bit ago. Started out playing on Heroic, but about halfway through my friend wanted to play some co-op so I played it all the way through with him on Legendary. Interesting that Legendary co-op is easier than Heroic single player. Great game though, probably the best Halo campaign. Haven't given firefight a go yet but I imagine I'll enjoy that a lot.
