GTA L: Grand Thumb Auto Liverpool (50th anniversary edition)
Patters replied to Action Shakespeare's topic in Multiplayer Networking
Frankly, fuck you . friends from Scotland and London were in Manchester for a gig, I would have felt bad if I hadn't also gone. I should be up for the 'real' GTA L though. -
I demand the 'blix cast!!!
-
Entirely reserving judgement until it's released, I am not going to read up on it prior to release.

I thought this would be an appropriate place to put this. My friend has been building a memorial car for a mutual one who died last year, in his car. It's looking pretty good, if very much a chav mobile.

Yeah I have been thinking of trying that sort of thing, every time the short game has ever happened, I have effectively screwed up something else. Though I feel like a change, to which I have reacted normally in getting most of my hair cut off. to the shortest it has been in over 6 years [aside]fuck that's over a quarter of my life[/aside] I have definitely been smiling more, which isn't common for me. I don't know why, I just feel a lot happier at the moment!

I'd go with this, until I have spent over 2 hours of conversation trying to get money back. Then I am more likely to get aggressive, though I make it clear to the person it is against the company not the individual. This reached it's peak after I tried to get my mum's AOL broadband cancelled and I spent about 5 hours (over 2 weeks) attempting to get a MAC code which worked.

Happy Birthday Wrestle!

Going to have to back this up. Broken Sword 2 is probably my favourite adventure game of all time.

A new multiplayer game (for the times when left for lobby gets too much)
Patters replied to Armchair General's topic in Multiplayer Networking
I'm patters, I also coined patters666 in case the guy who stole it on ebay is a battlefield guy! EDIT: Also the beta friend system is definitely a beta version, it doesn't say if your friends are online or in a game, though if they are able to be joined. Steam chat is very necessary at this point. -
DAMMIT! This is why, Mr Remo, us thumbs would love you to start podcasting again. Your views and overall analysis of games is second to none, apart from maybe Nick's or Jake's.

This, pretty much explains part of it.

The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)
Patters replied to Wrestlevania's topic in Idle Banter
I just realised that Baddies have released their début album, if you like spazzy indie rock (that's a technical term I believe). Similar to stuff like The Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster, who I would also highly recommend. DbOFg6Xmluk O9r5r-DTXn0 -

Preorder from play to get the beta, cancel it then order from game. worked for me! -
The Alliance won't become involved in a Cerberus operation due to what Cerberus stands for; they are essentially viewed as a Pro human anti alien group. It isn't a plot hole.

Huh. Ah well, I have had both games preordered for a while now With BF being such a large scale game, we are likely to have to play with randomers, thus I would recommend using the steam voice chat for comms. -
I sent you a friend request (as long as you are Toblix), James is "JamesM", pirate has one also, probably his forum name.

The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)

I've gone on a binge of bands I haven't listened to in ages including: Hundred Reasons, The Offspring, New Found Glory, Biffy Clyro (albums 1-3). It's really weird but awesome! -
It's explained that Cerberus used most of their funds to finance to commissioning of The second Normandy.

I like that, to take out a building, you have to take out the key pillars and a decent amount of the walls. With 1943 you could take out most of building with 3 grenades. In the buildings that I have been in while collapsing have given a slight indication before the roof falls on you and you die.
