Skies is my favourite game of all time, glad you enjoyed it.
-
Yes, I think I mentioned it, due on the 4th with 35 square miles of the map.

Akira. There are 2 English Dubs, I would recommend the subbed version though. Also I really enjoyed Howl's moving castle and Spirited Away.

You only use the part after v= in the code so for example: v=fuiafapofhaoieg the bold part there.

OK so played a bit more, made more sense of it. Had a fantastic but incredibly hard fight from a rooftop against those on the floor, after setting off an alarm inside a building with one door. I also came across a comical bug, I rescued a guy for the second time, then it told me to go into the tunnel I did the first time.

So this game is pretty cool (Shadow), about 3 hours in. I don't get the radiation thing, so just run backwards if my Geiger-meter goes off. I'm really looking forward to obtaining a sniper rifle though.
-
Yeah, it was good, a couple of really cool moments: such as 'blix and I simultaneously drifting around corners, me in my Mirra Impreza and him in his Maserati GT.

So essentially you want a street fighter IV/Starcraft II but in worms form? If so I agree.

No music? I said before band I'm friends with are playing: failsafe

People move mice like that? I have always had the base of my palm resting on the mat.

The Itunes link works now.

Played a little straight up co-op with Pirate yesterday, was pretty rad. We ended up using Skype above steam chat or the windows live interface, it was a lot nicer, it would be cool to try this for Last Stand. Also, I would be interested in doing a few skirmishes, with the maximum player count for that being 6 players, opposed to the 3 that last stand offers.

Prog rock night, sorry gents. -
Actually they do, look at snipers, jugglers, contortionists. All of these require millimetre precision, otherwise fatality can occur. With a higher dpi mouse you can lower the sensitivity, to get a far cleaner movement, opposed to a standard mouse. I would compare using a gaming mouse to looking at a landscape opposed to a ever so slightly blurry photo. It's the same experience, but not. I have to use normal optical mice often in university, it's a pain being used to an incredible piece of kit.

It's a good time to be a gamer OR Is it a good time to be a gamer?
Patters replied to toblix's topic in Video Gaming
It's potentially a good time, though with so many potentially great games being released in such a small time frame, it's easy for less savvy consumers to get bogged down, having too much decision. I reckon it's going to be harder for developers and publishers, the competition is pretty vast, one of the reasons both Capcom and Ubisoft, I assume, pushed games back. I blame activision and publisher's apparent fear of the CoD market. -
I'd probably stick to either Razer or Logitech. I reckon the Cyborg would be a competent mouse. The reputation of Razer and Logitech far surpasses Saitek's. Which games other than BF are you looking to play? The mouse market is fairly saturated at the moment, with a similar occurence to the compact camera market (quoting megapixels above all else, despite the image quality being the same on a 6mp to a 10mp). Anything above 1800dpi would be enough, only professional gamers can tell the difference, a 1000Hz or greater sensor is probably the best bet. As for buttons, I find 5 is enough, though more may be useful. I personally am a big fan of Razer, with my current setup including a 1800dpi Deathadder, a Goliathus mouse mat and a Lycosa keyboard. I will buy an Onza (360 controller) when it is released.

I have been using a Razer Deathadder for years now, I'd recommend it if you are right handed. A mouse makes a big difference.

I entirely forgot that The Ghost of a Thousand released an album last year, is pretty rad, if you like Punk at all. H0TrjFrIYlc Also a band, who I am friends with, are heading over to Texas to play SBSW. Which also is rad. nCnBDXFtJkk nKs-C7goDBg -
I feel indifferent to AA. It didn't do anything new, the boss fights were particularly uninspired. Other than that nothing had bad execution, it just felt like something I have played a dozen times before. It felt like a blockbuster film, which the majority of which I also don't explicitly like. I know my personal favourite release of 2009 Forza Motorsport 3 wouldn't get any GotYs, in the same way a documentary wouldn't win an equivalent Oscar.

It's definitely a very good game, I was expecting a lot more for the overall experience to be stronger. The reviews I had seen and the opinions made me believe it would be utterly brilliant. I just felt a little underwhelmed. The combat feels to simple for my liking, as was the stealth. it got a lot better towards the end, but not enough. The claims of best superhero game, to me, were the step too far, Spider-man 2: The Movie: The game, was better.

This week I have finished: Mass Effect 2(), Batman Arkham Asylum () and DoW II ()
