Yeah, the cards are roughly equal. Go with the cheaper one. I went with the 4870 it's ever so slightly more powerful than the 5770 at dx10 level, though it doesn't support dx11 and was £50 cheaper than the 5770. Planning to upgrade to a 5850 when, you know, they get reasonably priced.

Kinda like: It would be better but I only have an SLR with me and no tripod. I also hate the "myspace" SLR photo's for spoilt brats.

I don't understand why people seem to want a camera on these, of course a forward facing one can be used for video calls. I see no practical reason to have a rear camera.

Do you have an HD TV with HDMI or DVI? I know you already have a laptop, would you need to have a second (assuming said laptop still runs). I know you aren't confident building your own. New Egg seems to have good computers in your budget. The gaming PCs in your budget Some I would recommend: The most expensive one in your price range not the most recent graphics card though I'm not sure on the graphics card in this, though benchmarks suggest it's decent enough Finally one which is a out of you budget, though if you could stretch for it, I'd say it's worth the difference. Above budget

That thing would be ideal for a photographer, the SD card support along with being fully open could lead to a lot of good things. I doubt it will be successful though. I just want touch screens similar to those in minority report.

It's not out in the US yet, it's due out on the 16th over their it appears.

Yeah, doubt that multitasking is in. Particularly with the ipad not mutitasking. Never know though.

There is a really good guide on the Shoryuken Forums, whose link is on my other computer, saying which parts are compatible. If I were you I would get used to the feel of the stick then later consider upgrading.

Yeah you do. Before spawning you can click the robot on the right, if it's yellow and upgrade.

Kick Ass. It does what it says. Slick presentation, decent, yet fairly predictable story. Despite thoroughly enjoying it, I'm kind of bored of Origin stories in film.

Stick at it, you have more control than you think. Upgrading jump is a good idea as Brannigan said. play on levels such as upside down town at first. It feels more like a flying game than anything else to me.

I think the reason which these are commonly accepted is due to the nature of consoles, they tend to be locked down. Most people who make the argument to me seem to be PC users, those who know that the PC is completely open, from here they see Apple, traditionally a builder of computers releasing something which has a lite version of the authorisation to release a program for it. They follow the view that you should have a system completely locked down or one that is completely open. People had similar sentiments about the original Xbox, with views that it was just a plug and play PC. Though about midway through it's life it became apparent to nay-sayers that Microsoft were serious about becoming involved in the console market. That probably makes between little and no sense, for which I am truly sorry

Got ya. I seem to remember that blueberry garden didn't work with the overlay. At the moment I'm running it windowed to sidestep this problem, something I cannot do in Chaos Theory. Glad to hear about the password saving also. Well done on what seems to have been an incredibly smooth launch, and one of the most interesting, whilst also being great, multiplayer games I have bought in ages.

Again I want to say how much I am enjoying the game, I nearly won a round earlier today! I have two little niggles: The steam overlay doesn't work with the game for me, which could well be due to XNA. Secondly, if you could save your password that would be great.

The Dancing Thumb (aka: music recommendations)

Going to have to back Miffy here. They sound like a contrived and boring version of a fair few British bands. Brit Pop a decade late, with an added touch of Ash. No problem with people liking that sort of stuff though. -

Buy a pad or a stick.

So I'm thinking Casino arcade meeting at 6 or 7pm, which ever is peoples preference. Throw me a PM to get my Number, then head to a pub between 8 and 9, have a pint or 4 then over. Good with others? If anything changes I can throw out a text to tell those of changed plans.

Yeah it's running perfectly on my laptop: 1.8ghz core 2 duo, nvidia 8400m gs and 2 gig ram. I have bloom off due to background programs running. I wish there were lower sensitivity settings for the mouse though, I'm running my deathadder at the lowest sensitivity in game, I also need to half the polling rate (to 500Hz) to make it controllable.

Yes, thanks for that.

No, with murder mysteries or something similar, come to think of it I believe it is some old black and white English language film.
