No, in H3 you could go to about 25% shield and then a melee would kill. A punch in the back doesn't kill one with full health unless you hold B, though someone can kill you to save his friend with this.

You can't do that in Reach so easily, Melee will only kill if they have no shield left.

The weight of the characters feels similar to Reach. From what I remember Republic Commando was a very fun yet highly structured FPS. I seem to remember it had a cover system though that could be bullshit (it has been 5 years after all). it's also the only good thing associated with the pretend Star Wars films.

Chaos Theory is the best one, easily. The PC version is pretty slick too. The main projects he worked on were the Splinter Cell, Chaos Theory and Far Cry 2; though he was also involved in the GBA versions of Splinter Cell and SC Pandora Tomorrow.

From What I understand, the only place to get the Mac version of Tales is from Telltale themselves, it is likely to be available on Steam for Mac at a later date, most likely when Steam for Mac is out of beta.

You only need ODST to participate in the beta. The actual game is released in September. I'm going to respectfully disagree with your opinion on Odious Tea also, with it being more of a single player game than co-op in atmosphere, this isn't needed here though.

Quick point in relation to the Ash cloud, if the plane flew through the ash cloud the ash could go into the engine and turn into glass under the temperature. I don't know if the density would be even close to make the plane stop.

Yeah it seems to be similar. The 10 years bit is the weird thing to me though, in every industry that has contractual obligations they tend to be for releases, particularly in the Record industry. I'm quite interested to see where this goes towards the end of the contract, it could well end up with MW2 sales or even higher, considering how well the Halo franchise sells and how powerful the Activision marketing machine is. I'm wondering whether this is the project which was mentioned other than ODST Reach last year, or something entirely different, whether they will use the engine for Reach for this among other things.

Very much so, they have gotten a lot bigger and of course some have left. In fact so many older employees still work their they are able to call them the "Grizzled Elders" Marty O'Donnell being one of them. Bungie seem to have a fantastic community both inside the studio and between the studio and community, which is apparent from their podcast and their website. I really don't know what to think of this move, it seems much more similar to an EA partners type deal. Maybe Activision is changing, maybe Bungie didn't want to be owned by any one thus tied to them. A quick question, specifically to Chris but if anyone else knows feel free to answer. Were Bungie the only the only company to ever successfully split from a giant company?

I think it was more of an experimental idea, seeing as the PC version isn't very optimised. EDIT: If we do go ahead can we not use voice through Windows Live? We could easily use my Ventrillo server, which isn't intensive on bandwidth or resources.
