There was little to no press for it. I've just bought it, even though I have it for the Wii. Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars is now joint first with HL2 for my most purchased game.

The systems for mini games don't feel right in poker. Poker is more than the card game. Though I doubt it's straight Texas Hold 'em with the 3 cards being held, I don't think Telltale would be silly enough to make such a mistake.

Poker mini games are almost always awful, dedicated Poker games aren't.

Well the "Heavy" looks to be holding 3 cards (which you should know is one more than one does in Texas Hold 'em) the same amount "Tycho" is holding. It could well be 7 Card Stud though.

There will be another unofficial meet up here too, it's exclusive though. It's going to be me with a crate of beer plotting Chris's demise. Also if anyone is ever around Manchester/London, dependant on the time of the year, I would be happy to set up a game of Imperial 2030.

I'm going to, once I have the opportunity to buy some points, one of the reasons I prefer Steam.

World of Goo was released in the worst way possible. The best indie release system recently would likely go to Minecraft. Also Shank looks pretty cool.

I use dick tactics in Worms, always have. Other than the UI and voice chat the game is still great.

Actually have you considered the M11X the i7 version is $1100, though only dual core.

I'd always suggest getting a powerful desktop and a moderate laptop. http://www.notebookcheck.net/ is a good source for information if you need a laptop only.

I think it's only PC centric due to games Remo, Breckon, Gaynor and Jake (sometimes) play. Remo likes a lot of Eastern European games, Breckon strategy games, Jake doesn't play games (except TF2). It's been kind of refreshing having Sean, who is predominantly a Console gamer.

I'm pretty sure he means relatively unknown.

Play Shadow with the Complete 2009 mod, it's fantastic.
