Yeah, that was a TTG employee.

I did the worm mission prior to the final mission. The final mission was not hard, for me at least. My strategy was to build a barracks on top of the hill you defend pumping out marines and medics constantly (2 marines for each medic), pumping out Battleships to the back of the hill, from here I made sure I had 2 battleships at each entrance, putting the others at the front of the hill. I only built 2 SCVs which were constantly building turrets to prevent aerial assaults as well as repairing. A few Goliaths are useful to cover additional fliers and a couple of siege tanks don't hurt. Once I hit the unit cap, I never dropped below 150. At the end I probably had 12 Battleships, 5 Banshees, 50 infantry and a couple of Thors.

Stop being Patronising. Yes Goldeneye was played for years after release, as every great shooter is. You seem to be posing those excited for it as console gamers, Duke3d came out on: PC, Mac, N64, Saturn, PS1 and XBLA. I played it in around 2000 at a friends house, so if I were excited (I'm not) for it am I wrong because I'm 20? No of course not; if someone played the XBLA release and are excited for it are they wrong? Same answer. People got excited for Street Fighter IV when they hadn't played the previous titles, were they wrong to do so? Nope. People have played similar games, so another property can be appealing to them.

Sorry, but what?! They are younger than me (at 20) Duke Nukem 3d came out in 1996, not that long ago. You mentioned "grew up on Goldeneye" a title that came out in 1997. I think you're on the wrong time-line.

1080p is good for the 360 aspect, I prefer 16:9 to 16:10.

Idle Thumbs PAX Panel Live Stream?
Patters replied to GameDreamer's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
Yeah from Doug Tabacco, Shaun "Shauntron" Finney is recording it, Fucking A. -
Oh shit. I probably can't go. Juggling convention on that weekend.

My attendance entirely relies on Thumbs being there, I missed the Indie show and Yell last year to get drunk. Though I met JamesM and Nachimir the second day.

This stuff right? If so I agree, wholeheartedly. I'm going to say that Breath of Fire 4 was one of the best looking PS1 games. Bastion looks interesting.

It's the title Clint Hocking had for Splinter Cell 3 and Far Cry 2, obviously dependant on the company the involvement could be different.

The difficulty level in this game is like a sine wave. I'm playing on normal, which for the most part is too easy, though there are missions which are much more challenging, then others that are so incredibly easy (the laser mission). A difficulty level between hard and normal would be ideal.

So.... will it be good?

Kindle books can only be used on a kindle product or app, though you can get that for pretty much everything: Iphone, Ipad, Android, Windows, OSX, Blackberry. Though the biggest apparent problem is: "You are able to redownload your books an unlimited number of times to any specific device. Any one time the books can be on a finite number of devices. In most cases that means you can have the same book on six different devices. Unfortunately the publishers decide how many licenses, that is devices, a book can be on at any one time. While most of the time that will be five or six different devices there will be times when it’s only one device. At the present time there is no way to know how many devices can be licensed prior to buying the book." http://www.geardiary.com/2009/06/19/kindles-drm-rears-its-ugly-head-and-it-is-ugly/

I wonder if this version (with appropriate controls) will be released on Steam. The game doesn't need anything added to it, except maybe new textures, it's fantastic as it is.

This.

It's less than £3 so I'm getting it. I think it was quite unprofessional to have the silhouette image with 3 card hands, or genius.

Is anybody a sad human like me, and have not played any LucasArts adventure games?
Patters replied to Snooglebum's topic in Video Gaming
I might put it down to it being English, the Europeans like it and the Yanks don't . -

and I respectfully agree with you. -
Shit. I can't imagine how devastating it would be to lose all of my media. Luckily you use Steam so a decent amount of games are safe. P.S. I'd recommend getting the GTAs and Mass Effects on a Steam sale.

Squier guitars tend to be made in Asia. Current Stratocasters made in Mexico are branded as Fenders. The only songs I'm interested in are: Anthrax – Caught In A Mosh The Bronx – False Alarm The latter being a better song to play bass on and it's not one of the better Bronx songs. They really should have put "Shitty Future", "Six Days a Week" or "Stop the Bleeding" instead of it. It's cool to see a decent hardcore band supported straight out of the box. They are some pretty angry dudes.
