DON'T USE CARTOGRAPH.

Played a bunch of games with Sombre earlier vs ai. He's #203.

You need 10 posts. If it's an indie game put it in the compendium http://www.idlethumbs.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6477.

You can but Obsidian takes a considerable time to remove with a diamond pickaxe, unlike stone which barely takes a second. On the server I played on someone griefed a building by filling it with obsidian, I helped remove some of it, which took ages. Again the game is in very early stages so not everything will have it's full potential yet. Also you are very wrong about redstone http://minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Redstone_circuits.

Obsidian is useful to block certain things say a river or lava, it takes ages to remove with a diamond pick. Gold is useless in real life but it's pretty. Redstone can be used to make circuits and such.

It's looking like a PR stunt.

I haven't played any PC games (or any games) in 3D, the effect makes me motion sick. It seems that there are being more steps to make native 3D PC games, Civ V apparently has some cool 3D features such as the UI standing out above everything, Crysis 2 seems to be going for the big 3D game (on 360, PC and PS3). Again I'm not a fan of 3D, a lot of the figures companies are putting out are complete shit, HDTV isn't standard yet so why would we upgrade again? The 3DS seems to be the best step to a successful 3D future (holograms) in a way which everyone can enjoy it by making the 3D effect changeable. There are a few theories that Sony have pushed out 3D TV early due to massive loss, which would be the second time this decade they have been part of an unfinished format being launched (Blu-ray). My major gripe with 3D as an entity would be that those with sight problems of certain capacity cannot partake. Gamers have often had various disabilities rendering them normally unable to play games; there are a variety of controllers available to those who can only use one hand for whatever reason. Accessibility is becoming less and less of a priority which is one reason I'm not the greatest fan of kinect and move, I saw the latter in HMV today and there was a lot of wii waggling. One could say that prosthetics are becoming more advanced, but the tech for these inputs is accelerating past them, leaving behind a minority. I don't like this at all. I play games and talk about games with people from all over the world, with people with various disabilities, people who like very different music to me, people older/younger than me; I don't want to leave anyone behind without good reason. I know with a lot of you being from mainland Europe your native tongue is not English, again this is something that you have overcome to be able to play more games (watch more movies, read more books, etc); which I respect you greatly for. If you had one eye (major case) and a bunch your friends were going to see a 3D movie, you would have to sit out, which is not fair. end angry tangent.

If you want 3D gaming Nvidia 3D vision seems to be a good bet, though you'd have to get an nvidia card 3D kit and 120Hz monitor.
-
Nope, they will. Glasses-less 3D TVs are prototypes, there is talk of 2013 release for consumers and earlier for professionals.
-
And the other ones do cost half a million.
-
One of the creepers explodes when it's near you, that probably happened.
-
Yep I take this stance (if I had the condition). 3D shouldn't use glasses, I'm slightly curious how glasses-less 3D would work with those with that and similar conditions, particularly in TVs.

Idle Thumbs 51: Burnin' Down the Wolfman [Now with Video!]

Glad you made it through OK. General anaesthetic is a weird one, I've been under it twice in my life, the first time (from breaking my arm really badly twisting the bone broken in two places) I woke up screaming. The second time (tonsils) went a lot smoother. It's bizarre somehow like sleep yet totally different to it. -
It's up to you guys.

geqip_0Vjec These things are getting scary.

I've bee "testing the water" with various groups of people in various game types. The netcode is much better cross Atlantic than Halo 3 was, meaning that both firefight and co-op are playable there (Thanks Lauren and co for that) Hit recognition is a lot better than it was for the BR in H2 and H3. The new weapons are a joy to use on live,I haven't come across a single shotgun/sword camper yet. Matchmaking is a lot faster than in the past. I've already made a team arena map in Forge which I'm looking forward to testing and iterating on. So far the game is rad and easily the best multiplayer game released this year.
