FUCK YEAH!

Yes I know. How else could it be randomised?
-
My point was that it's not randomised, as you questioned here: The puzzle was set in stone both times, it wasn't random for any character.
-
They were both set puzzles, I can't remember if the cipher was the same though.

I call hacks. You're secretly an alien with 2 sets of hands and 2 voices and happen to be in different pats of North America.
-
It's ugly as hell, it doesn't need pop-ups for people when using the out of game client, it's slow. Also the in game client doesn't differentiate between 2 people who have the same name, until they have replied.

Dawn of War II, would be interesting, the mechanics themselves are easy to understand. Splinter Cell Chaos Theory has a fantastic co-op campaign, the PC version is now the only way to get the additional levels released. Flotilla, 'Splosion Man, Gears of War 1 and 2, etc. Miffy and Jon are secretly the same person.

Don't use Raptr as an IM client, it's pretty awful. I use Steam, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook chat. None are fantastic, but they get the job done.

People are idiots more like.

You're wrong, so wrong. Look at the fucking phrase "the straw that breaks the camels back", seriously, you are implying that that Chris thinks it's a big problem. Think about the god damn words you just read and realise that you're wrong. Addendum: I don't know whether Chris how big the problem is, frankly it doesn't matter to me, with my interest in WoW being zero.

Nope, it's been 64 either way from sea level since July. It might be 32 to the bottom of clouds though.

It's a stand alone expansion... obviously.

Throw Shauntron on the list too, I and a few others can vouch for him.

Difficulty in games.. is it that difficult to understand?
Patters replied to Tanukitsune's topic in Video Gaming
That's not difficulty, it's a similar system to Oblivion where the world levels with you. -
Pick up a copy of Castle Ravenloft, it's supposedly a great introduction to new players. I'm thinking of getting a copy when there is stock in the UK. Yeah Saboteur is great, I think the second round we played at boardgamecamp was among the best I have played, hving pegged Ross as a Saboteur from the start, it was clear that he made it very clear that he was a saboteur. The game works well as a mechanic, but what really makes it stand out is the interaction between the players. I've recently picked up both Battlestar Galactica (which remains unplayed) and Weinhandler. The latter is a quick and solid game, again something we played at boardgamecamp, I'd recommend picking up a copy, especially as it's fairly cheap. I'm looking to pick up: Last Night on Earth: The Zombie Game, Castle Ravenloft (as previously mentioned), The upcoming Civilization licence (from the designer of Arkham Horror) and Starcraft. Also if any of you guys happen to be on Manchester (UK) on a Tuesday evening in term-time you should come play board games in Richmond Park (in Fallowfield).

No touching the Congrats Nick sign. It was destroyed before it shall stand until the end of the world.

Difficulty in games.. is it that difficult to understand?

No it doesn't, Ninja Gaiden is fantastic. It's punishing if you play it like a brawler or as a Dynasty warriors type game, play it properly and it's not as hard. There's only one thing which stands out as cheap to me in the second game: the fire armadillo. -

nope, at least with the bigger companies, people who are experienced with the series to non gamers are used to test. -
Stop cheating you bastard. It's not Crunch.

That's bullshit, difficulty levels are incredibly important to games (both board and video). Take Halo for example: as someone who is pretty damn experienced with the series, I start with Heroic (hard), whereas someone who is unfamiliar with the series would be better suited to Normal and one who isn't familiar with shooters would be best with easy. When playing Halo I want to have a challenge, I want to prevail, but not too easily. What is easy for me will be hard for another. If a game is too easy then a lot of people will forget it, if it's too hard they will resent it. Platformers in particular give me this problem, a lot of SNES era games were too hard, yet the new Super Mario Bros. game on DS was too easy. 'Splosion Man had an interesting solution to this, being able to skip sections if you died X times, however with my perseverance I didn't use this once, it felt like cheating, if I can't do it myself I don't want to play any more. Sometimes I want a game to be kicking my arse, see shmups. Say Beat Hazard, which while I was playing I played exclusively on the hardest level. yet something like Geometry wars doesn't appeal in the same way, it didn't punch me in the face on the first level so I don't care, sure it's a good game, it's not for me though. Now look at Civilization, with 5 I started with a quick game (difficulty level 2) it was far too easy. I progressed to a world map (difficulty level 4) which I got absolutely destroyed on, due to bad placement and the difficulty. Yet on my current game (Level 3) I'm having a great time, it feels great. -
Well he doesn't work there anymore.

Roads laid, I'm now working on my next tunnel system/batcave, which puts my previous one to shame. it's also hidden somewhere in my castle.
-
I was planning to build a road to near you and you could do what you wanted with it, sort of a way for people to find stuff. i've also had some pretty cool ideas for what to do when the map gets reset or I finish my castle: A giant arcade cabinet, or a remake of Blood Gulch from Halo.
