3, VC and SA are an unlinked trilogy as IV, and the subsequent expansions are. SA was my favourite, ver mad cap and crazy but in a good way.

It's not that much more work other than compatibility testing, which companies seem to veto more than often. Like me Orv. is a PC gamer, so would prefer to play games there, and Steam is a proven platform for this sort of game.

Just a few cool things about GTA IV on PC over consoles: 32 player multiplayer (vs 16) Modability (there are 2 Vice City total conversions in the works) Better graphics, filters (AA, AF), and framerates.

Both of those are fine ports, GTA is very demanding but it looks a metric fuckton better than the console version, which still chugged. Plus you can use a controller over a keyboard and get a better version of the console experience. Also it accounts for the users who don't have consoles, or prefer PCs.
