I played a round and a half Of Caspian Border which made up for the dreadful Metro. Metro is one of the worst maps I have played in a long time, it's too flat, the pacing is really weak due to it favouring campers. Caspian however is everything a Battlefield map should be, fast, fun and cool shit happens: Starting the map I decided it was a good idea to get in a Jeep, I waited for a few minutes to see if anyone wanted to gun for me, they didn't, then I left. Full throttle to a point on the enemies side of the map, throwing my vehicle around corners violently, but not hitting any of them. As I approached the point I see two manned enemy tanks, one of which had it's cannon pointed directly at me, I immediately bail, while I see my Jeep's carcass continuing forward, hitting an enemy foot soldier and ending his life. Meanwhile I'm running to the building on my right for cover, where I hunker down until my buddy spawns on me. We proceed to the roof where I lay down covering fire, taking a couple of infantry with my M16, when he pulls out his RPG and takes down a tank. He however hasn't seen the second tank which fires and takes us out.

Having an additional selling point is a good thing. If you want to improve females in games, organise something, get a group of people to email or write a letter to the designer of a game that represented women in a bad light, suggest how they could improve, etc. Talking on an independent games forum is not going to do anything, advertising your cause on one, however, might.

I'd argue that saying you are a feminist is anti equal rights, in the same way people say they are proud that they have a gay friend, to which I would counter, who the fuck cares what type of person they are attracted to. Race hasn't been touched on nearly as much as gender, how many games have a black, hispanic or arabic protagonist. GTA is the only one which comes to mind, which while most protagonsts are white males, there are a lot of strong female characters: BG&E, Mirrors Edge, Longest Journey. While women are often portrayed with ridiculous proportions etc, there is a reason for this, there are a lot of male adolecent gamers. Anyone who has grown up will realise that these characters are characatures, with zero substance, and the real characters which have appeal are those in the earlier mentioned games, along with HL2, etc. To agree with this we would have to add Lara Crigger and her #naughtyHawkthoughts.

You are arguing a point that has been argued roughly infinity times over the course of human history. There is no answer, as long as you consider all people equal then you are doing it right. Can a strong female character not be attractive, can she not wear clothes which she chooses to wear in the fiction. Male characters tend to be targeted the exact same way, the male Shepard, as Thunder has pointed out is quite similar to the very attractive men Matthew Fox and additionally Wentworth Miller. While his female counterpart looks to be a woman in her early twenties. This goes round in circles and always will. If I were to argue this point I would focus on race as a problem above gender, look at the reaction to the new Ultimate Spider-Man being black. How many games have believable characters of ethnic minorities?

I'm probably most looking forward to the Car club aspect, especially with the content which carries over from 3. Assuming they have leaderboards for tit it would be cool to see Idle Thumbs climb the ranks, I'd love it if Forza 5 had something along the lines of persistent teams, where you start with club style cars and your team improve to up to R1/XX, perhaps with a shared team bank account along with the individual drivers wallets.

You could go for a Phenom II X4 processor on a AM2+ board, keeping your ram usable., or perhaps an Athlon II X4. It's the cheapest viable way to go for a quad core at this point (probably in the region of £130). The 955 I have is still going strong without me needing to overclock it.

Either a 6850 or a 460 would do nicely. Both are roughly £130. If you went the Nvidia route you could have one as a physX card where necessary.

Ok then I wouldn't go crazy with the GPU then, one other piece of information we need is what PSU do you have? I'm looking at a 460 or a 6850 and then if/when you rebuild grab another and SLI/CF them.

I know exactly how you feel, I pretty much did the same thing with the Thumbs TF2 server I had for a few months a bit over a year ago. It was popular for a time but not consistent enough to demand my money and time.

Sorry but after actually looking up the game, I cannot agree in the slightest. The game in question (to be released this year NOT in 1975). I'd go to the point that it is more dependant on bitrate, a 720p 44 minute long TV show is roughly 1.9Gb, I know I cannot stream that. However as a Starcraft fan I know that I can stream on Justin.tv at 720p happily. Bit rate is more important here than everything else.
