Idle Thumbs 32: The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of
Patters replied to Jake's topic in Idle Thumbs Episodes & Streams
He reached the 9 hour 59 minute 59 second time limit, with 9 million points. -
Luckily for me the Patters666 username hasn't been used by many others. Ebay has been taken, which I can live with.

I think it's because it sold twice as much as any other recent BF game. Nope... it's set in 1943, even if there were, it would be pretty cool, WW2 adverts looked excellent.

Halo 3 Co-op is a hell of a lot of fun. Make sure you guys do the final level on legendary with ghosts, this in particular is the best way to finish the campaign.

New "old-school" LucasArts game announced tomorrow

Doesn't steam accept paypal? -
Finished it. It's fantastic, funniest game I have played in a while. One thing I would like to point out is that the original game trailer should be replaced, it makes the game look choppier than it is, and may put off some people.

I'm really liking the game, It runs quite nicely on my laptop at medium settings, native res. The inventory system could be better though.

Ok I should be in, however it depends on if I am still playing Munchkin prior to the game. -

I doubt it (with regards to ScummVM) the latest rerelease of Hit the Road works perfectly in all modern Windows operating systems (XP, Vista...), so I would assume that they will use their own system, which will likely to have been tweaked to support custom resolutions. -
I completely agree, I have loved every splinter cell game I have played, however I skipped the 360 version of Double Agent, instead playing the far superior original Xbox version (which the Montreal studio made). I would really hope that there is a way to play in either the old way as well as the excelllent looking new way. I believe it will also be on PC.

I have had RROD (pronounced red ring) once, luckily it was only temporary, I believe it was to do with a power failure where the 360 came on when the power returned (with the RROD), it definitely was an oh shit moment.

thanks for the advice, I am pretty sure we are going with O2 broadband, which is a better deal, as one of my housemates is with them, so we get a discount.

New house is excellent, but now I am stuck trying to set up and look at internet, we need to get a phone line too, which is a little confusing to someone who has never done so before. as far as I understand I get the land line from BT which is £11.25 per month, then the internet on top of that, or get a virgin land line and Virgin broadband. For some reason Idle thumbs is blocked on vodafone internet, due to adult content. also this made me laugh a little http://bt.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/bt.cfg/php/enduser/cci/bt_afdpage.php?p_sid=eBUsgVBj&cat_lvl1=346&cat_lvl2=1276&p_cv=2.1276&p_cats=346,1276

Holy shit, that's awful. I (along with most people) forget that stuff like that still happens. It's pretty disgusting that it does.

The picture is of Tiger Woods I think.

Words cannot describe how mush I want this game (well they could). I absolutely love Schafer games (as everyone should) particularly full throttle. This is one of the very few games I have actually plugged (other than Far Cry 2 and Audiosurf) even though it hasn't been released. From what I have seen this is likely to be the game that I enjoy the most this year.

conspiracy theorists will be going nuts.

This basically sums up my opinion (apart from rock/metal clubs). The only stuff I actually consider listenable is over 25 years old. I didn't get upset when dimebag was shot and killed, he made music I like.

Yeah, you just need to download the latest patch, which is fairly large... 1.2 gig or something.
