  1. Even in that case, all police needed were a couple hunting rifles with which they could land an accurate head-shot from a distance and some quality time at the range (police fired about 650 shots during the North Hollywood Shootout and landed zero headshots - neither robber was wearing a helmet). Instead, police departments bought tons of AR-15's (at the time) and now M4s. There's basically no reasonable police application for an AR-15 that isn't better served by a semiautomatic hunting rifle and the only reasonable police application for an M4 would be for hostage rescue teams that need to storm buildings or vehicles (planes, trains, ships, etc.). Since our lawmakers have decided that no-knock warrants are a thing, that's another police application for M4s, however unreasonable I feel it is. I'm not sure whether the weapons choices are more a case of poor decision making on the part of police leadership or a case of the perverse incentives created by making AR-15s and M4s essentially free, but I suspect it's a bit of both. I would assume that police departments also have access to surplus military rifles more suitable for designated marksmen in a law enforcement context like the M-14 or the M1 Garand, the latter of which the US Government donates to a non-profit for sale to civilians. I just don't think police leadership wants to bother with dedicated marksmen to call on when there's a crazy North Hollywood Shootout-type problem. They'd rather their rank-and-file that can't shoot straight be armed like soldiers.

In the case of AR-15s it depends on whether police departments buy full-automatic or semi-automatic versions...if they were buying semi-auto versions then its actually arguably less effective for most things I would imagine, given its less powerful cartridge compared to your average hunting rifle (and for most police applications I wouldn't imagine that full-auto is really that useful).

  2. I kind of think that calling assholes "sociopaths" is probably a bad idea and a trend I see on the internet that concerns me...its painting people who have actual mental conditions as villains or monsters and I think it does a disservice to everyone to throw it around like that and shows a lack of empathy from those of us who aren't sociopaths when we do it...so it bothers me when people do that in a way.  I will admit that I don't know enough about the condition to discuss it in a useful manner, but I also feel that means I REALLY shouldn't throw that term around as an insult or descriptor for abusive behavior in general.

I remember seeing a guy on an internet forum who was actually real sociopath discussing his issues with having trouble with empathy getting treated horribly by people who couldn't understand that it wasn't just some choice he made to think the way he did.  He wasn't being an asshole...he was saying that he had difficulty with empathy and had to actively work on dealing with that in his own way and he wasn't a bad person.  The reactions to him really made me cringe and I don't know if I threw the word sociopath around before that to describe bad behavior...but afterwards I really tried to make sure I didn't.

  3. In these games I tend to pick a couple things I like and stick to them.  In Titanfall I generally always use the CAR or the R97 (the two SMGs) and I always pick up either a carbine off a dead grunt or whatever  SMG I don't have or a shotgun.  Occasionally I'll decide to spawn in with a shotgun.  My playstyle consists of running on every wall and jumping everywhere like a crazy person while capping points (I usually play hardpoint).  When I'm in a titan its a Strider because that's the fastest one and I like going fast.

Edit: Damn I meant to reply to clyde's build and routes being too comfortable post.

  4. Damn, I was just listening to this episode and was "blown away" -- IGN.com (now there's an old reference) because of the .com conversation and then the dream conversation.

I had a dream the other day that I was talking about idle thumbs with someone (can't remember who for sure) and they wanted to check it out and just typed idlethumbs.com and it worked and I was all like "noooo you need to type idlethumbs.net...that's their url I don't know what idlethumbs.com is" but .com worked fine for him and I was confused.  He then typed in idlethumbs.net and it was a porn site or something and he looked at me with an accusatory expression on his face like I had purposely misled him in to going there on a shared or work computer or something and I felt really bad.  So when you said you had acquired idlethumbs.com and then later segued into a dream discussion I ended up very pleased (and laughing my ass off at Chris's dream or Rapid Eye Movement episode if you prefer).

I was also amused at the whole PS1 controller discussion...as someone who loves classic controllers and using adapters to hook them up to modern consoles (hell, the way I generally get my Arcade stick to work with my 360 is with a Playstation1 and 2 controller adapter that requires me to take a 360 wired controller and hook it into the adapter along with the joystick (or any other PS1 or PS2 controller) so that it can get inputs from the arcade stick or whatever is plugged in and get the authentication codes from the 360 controller (and you can use either one at any time).  It actually gets crazy and involves severed PS1 controller cables and an ethernet crimping cable and custom arcade stick PCBs that you solder RJ45 cables to.

  5. I have decided there is only one way for me to play this game controller-wise:

    ghIqJ.jpg

Edit: I also kind of wish there was a 240p resolution support available so whenever I get a Sony PVM someday (when I have room for one) I could run this game on it...but that's kind of a crazy thing to expect (my dream is to someday have a dedicated retro gaming space with a Sony PVM or some other old high quality 15khz CRT that can do 240p with a ton of old consoles hooked up to it along with a PC with an ArcadeVGA card in it).

  6. Nintendo also made (in Japan) a Super Famicom controller that plugged directly into a Wii Remote (and was available through Club Nintendo in Japan...and later through ebay and various importer shops).  I have two!

    ZwyHC4z.jpg

I also have one still in the box because I'm a crazy person (along with an SNES controller sealed in box):

    X5Sh2rw.jpg

(there are also all kinds of crazy adapters for hooking up SNES, NES, Sega Genesis, Playstation, and other controllers to the Wii and Wii U...of which I have a few)

  7. I actually still use a CRT for my PC gaming...albeit a very very nice CRT running in 1920x1440 resolution that I managed to find new in box in 2008 (it was made in the early-mid 2000's by Sony for Silicon Graphics Workstations or something (hence the sgi branding on the front).  Its a standard professional Trinitron PC monitor.  Its lack of blooming and high dot-pitch means that it doesn't really look like an oldschool CRT at all...so I end up using shaders with it to get that look with emulators (though I don't need quite as many effects in my shaders).  The shaders do a decent job of simulating an old TV that I would have played old games on (and by decent I mean good enough for me right now)...its not perfect but it all comes down to preference (some people want really sharp pixels scaled up to a high resolution...some want the thing to have RGB phosphor dots (simulated or real) and scanlines (I would fall into that category)).  Here's the CRT I'm playing games on now (usually at 1920x1440...though one of the nice things about a CRT is that it handles lower resolutions really nicely so Diablo 2 at 800x600 still looks nice and sharp):

Some day (when I have more room) I intend to get a Sony PVM CRT or some other sort of broadcast monitor to hook old games up to and just set up a little retro-gaming corner.

Edit: the reason I included the second pic was that it was my best attempt at trying to show the black levels of the thing...but its hard as fuck to take an accurate picture of a CRT...they aren't the most photo friendly of displays.  I thought I'd add some close up pics of the thing through a micro lens:

    640x480: http://i.imgur.com/BSMEiIa.jpg

    1600x1200: http://i.imgur.com/wJRlY5B.jpg

    1920x1440: http://i.imgur.com/KBoQLaz.jpg

Its really hard to get the RGB stripes of the aperture grille photographed right and they always look different in every single photo...but these turned out the best.  I probably need a tripod or something.

  8. I have a CRT too! I think I'm about ready to give up on it though.

edit: maybe that's not a CRT, but it looked like one at first glance.

Yeah, its a CRT...a Sony GDM 5411 (running at 1920x1440).  It works pretty well, I got it in September 2008 and I have a service cable for it so I can correct its G2 voltage (doing that, you can keep it running for a looooong time since the reason it washes out it largely due to an issue (rounding bug) in the CMOS/software causing it to constantly raise the G2 voltage over time).

I recently bought a new monitor calibrator (as the old one I used back when I got it doesn't play nice with Windows 7 or 8 and its been needing recalibrated for a while now) and the picture is almost like new again...I'll eventually replace this thing when it dies, but for now I really love it and being able to use all sorts of different resolutions without serious image degradation is nice.  Its really nice having a display with pretty much no latency and excellent black levels that can handle all kinds of different resolutions without any serious image degradation!

  9. Oh, I appreciate the value of good ergonomics. Not that I've ever had the capital to buy a truly great chair, but if I did I would. I should have exaggerated the number further to £10,000 or more — the point I was making is that just because you use something a lot doesn't mean that you should venture far beyond the boundary of diminishing returns without a really good reason. The HDMI cable was a more obvious (and sadly real) example. But this is in a world where spending has to be balanced with sanity (and rent), which isn't necessarily a big concern for some lucky people.

At work I actually just get one of the solid visitor chairs because I find them more comfortable and conducive to good upright posture than the mediocre wheel chairs that pervade most businesses I've seen. ;(

I'm kind of picky about input for games...I keep a ruler on my desk and the first thing I do with any FPS game is adjust my sensitivity so that it takes about 4 inches to do a 360 degree turn with the mouse (and test it at various speeds to ensure there isn't any acceleration).  I have a variety of controllers for old games...SNES and Super Famicom controllers, NES controllers, arcade sticks, etc.  I like having what feels to me to be the right controller for the right game (which is more a preference thing, but I have specific preferences).  I used to really like my old Mitsumi rubber dome keyboard and I wanted a keyboard that felt at least as good and was consistent and that would feel that way for a long time...I tried a keyboard with MX Blues and didn't quite like it (too heavy, but close to what I wanted)...so I used a stack of nickles to get an approximate idea of the weight to actuate the keys on my old mitsumi...and figured that MX Browns were what I was looking for, so I eventually ended up with what I have now and it feels a little better than my old mitsumi and I really like the way it feels for gaming.  I found that the space bar was a little too sharp and that it hurt my thumb when skiing in Tribes Ascend, so I bought one from WASD keyboards and liked it better (as it didn't hurt my thumb) and then decided I wouldn't mind some more orange keys...so I bought some more and ended up with the orange and black color scheme on my keyboard that matched my US-style arcade stick.  I'm a bit OCD about these things though...I have specific preferences and since gaming is my main hobby its almost become a fun past-time to pursue my ideal gaming setup (based on my preferences).  I've actually tried quite a few keyboards and key-switches over time and I've found that I really like the MX Browns.  My mom actually tried my old MX Blue keyboard and really loved it so I gave it to her and she really likes it (she used to type on an old mechanical type writer so she liked the tactile noisy feel of it).

You don't even want to get me started on my preferences regarding monitors:

  10. Can someone explain the cult of Ducky? It seems like there are comparable products at significantly lower prices--is it a build quality thing of is it just cool to own some obscure manufacturer's HID? They definitely look like nice, well-designed keyboards that aren't front-loaded with a bunch of gimmickry but man, that price.

I played around on some browns at Fry's last weekend while shopping for a webcam. It certainly is a subtler response than the blues, but I find that I tend to bottom out the keys so feeling the actuation isn't modifying my typing technique whatsoever. I would be interested to try blacks out, but buying a small switch board or hammering out a couple sentences in an electronics store doesn't translate to actually using the thing. For instance, the blue board I'm typing on at the moment was absolutely loathsome to use with Photoshop; it made keyboard shorts feel...wrong. I know that's not very eloquent, but it's about as well as I can describe it.

In my case it was just the one that fit my preferences (Cherry MX Brown switches with decently textured keycaps and a standard layout without any shiny/glossy plastic) when I was looking for one a few years back...there are a lot more options now (and the Ducky I bought would probably cost more now).  elite keyboards or whatever had stopped carrying Filcos but they didn't have the Leopold keyboards in, Corsair wasn't making a keyboard with brown switches in it yet.  Shortly after I bought it everyone started making mechanical keyboards with every switch imaginable it seems...so my timing sucked.  Were I to buy today I'd probably go with a Cooler Master or a Corsair keyboard at a signicantly lower cost than what I paid (I think I paid around 120 bucks)...or with a WASD keyboard if I wanted something a little more custom.

I will say that the combination of PBT plastic keycaps for the letters and ABS on the space bar makes for an interesting cacophony of noise when the keys bottom out against the metal backboard as I type.

Edit: I would add that I spend stupid money on stuff sometimes...so the keyboard didn't really bother me...I just bought a 1TB SSD and paid a little under 50 bucks for a used CD...so I'm not exactly a model of sane spending on anything (I also just ordered a 128GB micro SD card):

2nd Edit:  I also have a FANCY JOYSTICK!!!

And a different kind of fancy joystick as well:

  11. I laughed really hard at the story about driving next to the Google car.

Ever since the opening of Full House...I've had nightmares about being in the backseat of a car that was just going with no driver...thinking it would eventually go out of control and I'm trying to get to the front seat in time before disaster!  Now my nightmares could be made real (well, hopefully without the disaster part).

  12. the most important thing a review has to tell me is how likely it is that the game will be the citizen kane of games and whether it will blow me away, also an objective numbered score from 5-10 (because 1-4 is just silly) is what will really tell me if i should buy it

I rate Kane & Lynch 3 out of 5 Citizen Kane's, and Kane for the Commodore 64 gets 12 Kane's...Kano from Mortal Kombat gets 2 out of 1.5 Candy Canes and I give Giants: Citizen Kabuto 7 Casablanca's and a Maltese Falcon 4.0...Oh and The Walking Dead is the It Happened One Night of gaming...I can only imagine and hope that Going Home will be the Some Like It Hot of gaming.  I've heard that The Last of Us is the Duck Soup of gaming, but I've yet to play it.

  13. ...that L4D3 is actually HL2:EP3:MultiplayerContentDrop ?

What if L4D3 is just one component in a second Orange Box type thing...HL2:EP3, Opposing Force 2, DeathMatch Classic 2, and L4D3...they could call it the Green Box!  What if the opening splash screen was a close up blurry picture of Gabe Newell's genitalia that slowly comes into focus and the the text "Newell's Jewels" slowly fades in.  Think about it...THINK ABOUT IT!!!!

Edit: Oh and Ricochet 2.0 would obviously be in there as well!

  14. I actually really like the gameplay structure of the Zelda games...I can understand why some might be tired of it, but I see that structure as a big part of why I love those games.  We don't get upset because so many games tend to use a linear level progression structure...everything from SMB1 to CoD does that and people don't seem to pick on it as much.  The item-driven dungeon/overworld scheme of Zelda doesn't seem anymore beaten to death than the select a world/boss structure of the Mega Man games (and all of those that I've played have followed that structure), or the large segmented but connected world of the Metroid games (and Metroidvania games)...and certainly no more than the level-1, level-2, level-3 structure that most games use.  if anything I'd like to see more games try the sort of structure the Zelda games use...and I'd like to see a lot of other structures explored (and they are being explored).

That said, I don't see any more sense in expecting that Zelda completely abandon its gameplay or progression structure or whatever you want to call it than I see in expecting Mega Man to do so...I wouldn't dislike it if they did explore other possibilities, but I'm not going to fault them if they create a good game that uses the same structure of dungeons and overworld that LttP used.

I also think that Zelda gets shit on way more than a lot of other series for doing the same thing over and over...when you look at Halo that series has had far less variation than Zelda for the most part...same with many other series.  It not even that Zelda games get cranked out...its just that Zelda has been around for sooo damned long that there a lot of games in the series.  Some of the games have even deviated a good bit from the general structure (The Phantom Hourglass did, Spirit Tracks did, Majora's Mask did, and Wind Waker's sailing was a definate deviation from the traditional overworld of most Zelda games).  My big concern is that a different Zelda would be less a new and exciting experience and more likely God Of War with a funny hat...if anything I'd like the Zelda games to be a bit less linear; Skyward Sword felt a lot more linear and didn't seem to have as much exploration as past Zelda games (and Spirit Tracks took that to an extreme)...LttP had a lot of oppurtunity for sequence breaking that has been more and more lost in Zelda games and I'm hoping this game has a bit of that...hell I'd really like to see the games look further back to the original NES classic for some inspiration at some point given how little direction you were given in that...it was a game entirely about exploration that had as much in common with Dark Souls as it did with OoT.  Hell, Farcry 2 reminded me a lot of the original Zelda in some ways.

I just realized I rambled on for far too long there and made little sense.  That was horrible, so I guess what I'm getting at is that I can understand why some folks wouldn't be all that excited for a new LttP game (and I could see where some who would be might have gripes about this), but LttP is one of my favorite games of all time and something that tries to do more of that is something I'd love to see, so I have guarded optimism.

  15. I've been using my tablet (a Toshiba Excite and a Thrive before that) as an e-Reader lately and its very nice. I love books, but they take up a lot of space and one thing I lack is space (lack of space is the thing that keeps me from ordering one of those crazy Analogue Interactive hand made wooden NeoGeo MVS consoles...though I may just bite the bullet on that anyway...because I've always wanted a NeoGeo and those things are soooo cool being made out of wood and all (at least to me...but I sometimes have weird tastes)...hell I'd have a Sony PVM CRT broadcast monitor just for old consoles and shit (and then I could hook up said NeoGeo MVS to it)). Using the kindle and nook apps on my tablet (along with comic book apps like the Dark Horse app and others) I can save a ton of space that would be filled by both books I will read and books I mean to read but never will for lack of time. Its like Steam...I wouldn't have that many games if I had to physically store them somewhere...but since I don't I can buy whatever I want (now Amazon and B&N just need to embrace the whole crazy Steam sale model).

  16. The wallet thing just makes me think of the wallets in Zelda. Are there Gold Skulltulas in this game?

Actually that's sort of why I was ok with it the wallet thing...Farcry 2 always felt like "Zelda 1 the FPS game" to me with the respawning enemies and huge world to explore and discover. So the wallet thing really made sense to me in that same weird sort of way. I also sort of accidentally kept stumbling across the animals I needed to kill and skin to make my next thing...its kind of hilarious that I will crash my vehicle into a tree on my way to something else and see an animal and shoot it and be all "oh fuck this is the thing I need to make this...I'd been meaning to go looking for one of these!"

My biggest gripe about this game so far is that it doesn't handle ESDF very well...I end up having to use WASD when I drive and I have to use 'V' for my 'use' button (I normally use 'A'...but that means that whenever I'm driving and turn left I get out of my vehicle). Its weird because Farcry 2 had weird control issues as well and it seems that's the one thing they really remained faithful to! Though to Farcry 3's credit I didn't have to use an external program to make aiming with ironsights a toggle thing rather than having to hold down the button (I had to do that with FC2 along with an additional script for crouch toggling).

Edit: I would add that the thing that really bothers me is the whole "leaving the mission area" thing...if there was a way to mod that out I'd do it in a heartbeat and enjoy the game more, I don't dislike this game so far...but its weird...it feels like there are a lot of weird and bad decisions in there on top of a game that like...and if I could get around all that shit I'd enjoy it more. I'm not going to give up on it (hell I'm enjoying parts of it)...I almost did that with FC2 and came back to it months later because of Chris Remo's article on it being a slow burn that was worth sticking to and a lot of other stuff...and after giving that game a second chance I realized that it just took time for me to *get* that game.

  17. I'd say Tribes: Ascend is probably my GOTY so far...but I just got Farcry 3, Dishonored, and X-COM for Christmas...so its all subject to change (I also got Halo 4...but I've never been a big Halo fan so I don't think that's likely to be in the running).

Tribes: Ascend is definately my multiplayer game of the year...but overall I need to play those other 3 games to really decide (since those are all games I've been eagerly awaiting and I decided to get those for Christmas as an excercise in extreme delayed gratification).

  18. Will there be skiing? There has to be skiing.

If there's skiing I would be so fucking happy. I loved that...it just felt so awesome moving around in that game...building up speed...using your rocket pack...the air battles.

I NEED this game to be good...if they make an amazing Tribes game they are heroes to me...they could literally rape a hobo to death in his hollowed out eye sockets (after hollowing them out)...and they would still be heroes to me. Well ok...maybe raping a hobo in the face in the most horrific (and apparently lethal) way would be a bit much and perhaps slightly unforgivable...but so long as they don't do that they would be heroes!

  19. Hilariously enough...my parents ordered the new Mario All Stars for the Wii (which is the same old Mario All Stars for the SNES with a soundtrack CD and stuff)...and the company they ordered it from apparently had it backordered but reported it as shipped...so just recently they checked and it turned out that it was backordered (and I don't think Nintendo is sending them more) so they're going to cancel the order but they need 7 days. Meanwhile the price everywhere on the thing doubled. I told them not to feel bad about it and found a place where the price wasn't too bad (at the time...I think they're out of stock too now) and just ordered it for them (to give to me).

I was more or less happy that they just thought about getting me something enough (they did ask if I was thinking of getting that, and when I said "yeah" my mom was like "well don't...because we're getting you that for your birthday then" which worked out pretty well sort of except for the whole side-issue). This whole thread made me think of that. That and the huge pile of old 16 bit era controllers I have on my computer desk (mostly used with various adapters for Wii VC games).

Edit: Oh and I really am looking forward to the HD'ing of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus...hopefully in anticipation of the sequel; Shadow and the Colossus: Back in Action. And the windmill one.

  20. If the game were any good I'd be inclined to agree, but Duke 4ever looks like a steaming piece of shit.

I'm not saying that anybody that played the game years after it's release are incapable of appreciating it, but they're certainly romanticizing the experience. There's no way they would have played through it otherwise, 'cause it doesn't really hold up. Games like Starcraft and Street Fighter are recognized as balanced games that hold up beyond their presentation, and have a lot more to call back to than just pure nostalgia.

I was more of a DOOM fan myself back when Duke3d came out (hell I still feel that DOOM2 had one of the best weapon sets for deathmatch that ever was)...and I prefered Quake to Duke when that came out (even though Quake had some of the most horribly weak shotguns in it and I never really liked the weapons in it outside of a couple...they were just bland outside of the RL and LG and occasionally the GL)...that having been said, Duke did belong to that era when games were generally faster paced and less concerned with realism (I will admit that I hated CounterStrike with a passion back in the day...and its weird because I don't mind other games of that ilk like Battlefield or CoD...but I still can't stand CS).

I think generally the trend with FPS games today is to have less variety in weapons, slow pacing, and to make game design choices in an attempt at a sort of action movie-esque realism...and I'm ok with that if its just in some games; but the industry has a tendency to latch onto one concept or set of ideas and then they don't stray much from that. I think part of what I'm excited about with a new Duke (or more-so with Bulletstorm from the Painkiller guys) is something that breaks from that trend and brings a little more variety. I don't think there's one right choice in game design that all games should follow and I'd love to see more FPS games doing something different...and old school shooters of any sort qualify as different in todays climate.

My actual concerns with DNF are more that it looks like its going to try to modernize itself in an attempt to do all the stuff other games are doing...and if thats the case I have a feeling that we will end up with a game that brings back the less interesting aspects of Duke3d without retaining the stuff that actually made that game different from the run of the mill shooter today.

I will agree that SF2 and SC hold up much better than DN3D (tbh I think the FPS equivalent to those games would likley be one of the Quakes or even DOOM2 if you want to go back further)...but that said if DNF is fun I don't give a fuck about anything else. I don't think DNF will be the SC2 or SF4 of FPS games...but I would love to see someone make such a game...but thats another discussion that I've thought of starting.

  21. The hype for this game is so artificial it drives me nuts. Half these baby journalists raving about it being at PAX grew up on Goldeneye and Halo, so I don't know why they give a shit about Duke. And anybody old enough to have played the originals knows this game is way past it's prime.

Fuck it, fuck it all to hell.

I'm not sure about it being past its prime...in terms of gameplay I'd like more fast/oldschool shooters that don't even pretend to be rooted in reality...that having been said I doubt this will be that entirely. Really I'd just like more 90's style FPS games...especially on the multiplayer side...perhaps id or someone will someday make the Starcraft 2 of FPS games.

  22. I just started listening to the cast...and as you were discussing FAX'ing stuff over I for a second thought the discussion had veered into the concept of Chris faxing himself to Irrational, piece by piece (the plan being that they would reconstruct him from the faxes...like a star trek transporter but more low-tech). Then I realized that Star Trek sometimes implies (and this actually is how quantum teleportation appears to work) that teleportation actually creates an identical copy and destroys the original...and it hit me that the faxing method would. Then I thought that perhaps Chris was literally removing parts of himself to somehow fax the information from to send (he could back into his own hand) and I suddenly had the nightmare scenario in my head of poor Chris doing this pod cast with no limbs all bandaged up with a bloody office/school paper cutter in the background (this is getting more and more visceral) and no one has the guts to mention the horror they're witnessing as the nervously do the podcast with him all freaked out.

It also crossed my mind that in this scenario Irrational has probably informed Chris that they have such a technology and he's making a tremendous leap of faith...and perhaps this is all a dark plan to murder him and make it look like a very elaborate suicide. I hope I'm wrong...but be careful Mr. Remo...I fear that you might end up like a paper print out version of Walt Disney's head...waiting for some hopeful future where you can be revived from irrational's blueprints...and in a future of flame thrower armed big dogs I wouldn't want my only hope to be in the form of kindling.

Seriously though...thanks for all the podcasts...I will miss them. I've enjoyed them a lot and I enjoyed Mr. Remo's work on shacknews and its shackcasts before this...and I look forward to his work on the sequel to Bioshock Infinity...Bioshock And Beyond (its Bioshock on the moon, but with big daddy shaped soap).

If there are lots of errors in this text I apologize...I'm typing it from the parking lot of a gas station on my way into work (just got donuts) and I felt the need to type this before I forgot...for Mr. Remo's sake and safety.
