Does Molyneux have kids? If so, it must be weird for them. "Your birthday party is gonna be so AMAZING!!! There will be 1000 elephants there and they will sing to you and we're having a 'bouncy-bounce' specially made that will cover the whole city!!!!!111!!!1" Then the birthday party happens, and...well Molyneux did rent his kid a bouncy-bounce (albeit, not as big as promised) which is pretty cool. The only bad part is the kid will forget about this and not temper his expectations a year later when Molyneux says "WE'RE GOING TO HAVE UR PARTY ON DA MOON!!!"

Do you guys think this game would appeal to someone who never played it, never owned an N64 and therefore has no nostalgia for it?
-
Don't worry. That's just dads for you. Dads are old and a lot of them are really conservative (probably as a result of age). As long as your dad's not a congressman or something, it's probably nothing to worry about.

Also...try to find some music that helps. Belle & Sebastian was always soothing for me.

No one can, that's the beauty of Tekken.

Yes, Patters returns to the land of XBL!!! Today is the day to get drunk and play Tekken.

I told you to get that months ago. I still say: get that game. You need to be able to play SF II with your "new" stick and that version is so fucking gorgeous.

My one-year-old son always seems intrigued by babby games, but so far, they've never made one for babies. I hope Fable III is a game over which we can male-bond. Most babby games, in the past, have been too violent and complex. And I'm all "Microsoft, if you want Babby to be a mascot on the level of Super Mario, you have to make him more accessible to your entire user base.

Local video store is going out of business. I got a whole bunch of games at firesale prices including Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed II, Darksiders and the Saboteur.

Really into this song: "Shake the Disease" - Depeche Mode. Sorry, embedding is disabled. -
Oh snap! Well...have fun missing out on Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy games with your Genesis, punk!

I've been toying with the idea of returning to the game. But, to me, everything about it stunk of the most bland of Forgotten Realms D & D based novels. I only got about 15 hours in, though. Maybe it gets better.

For those thumbs who read manga, which ones are worth my time. Please keep in mind that completing a series usually seems to cost over $100. Manga I've enjoyed include: FLCL Death Note One Piece Battle Angel Alita Full Metal Alchemist But I haven't read a lot of manga. In my younger days, I found that the concepts behind most manga were fascinating in their craziness, but I didn't like most manga. I think now I'm more open-minded and don't expect manga to be "good" in the conventional sense, just entertaining in its Japanese-ness. I'm interested in "Reborn!" "Fruits Basket" and "Bleach" can anyone tell me how those are? Also I just read Ikigami: The Ultimate Limit vol. 1...it was mildly interesting, does anyone know if this series is worth continuing?

Seconded...the writing in Dragon Age is fucking godawful.

Also...how do you guys feel about anime vs. manga? I like manga a lot better, I guess because I can use my imagination to exercise more control over the tone. In my head, without english voiceovers and such, it's much less cheesy. That being said, are there any anime I should watch?

No Thanks. I don't care what a stripper tells you, George Lopez is not funny...AT all. Also: Thumbs, what's your favorite movie? Go!

This. Also...has anyone read the Phoenix Wright manga? I almost bought it last night.

This is one of the most absurdly presumptuous things I've ever heard.
