After watching that short video clip I can't say I was impressed. Not because it was disgusting, because it seems it's just blood splatters to me and nothing really else, but because it seems there is nothing else but the senseless killing. If one of the features of the game is being able to walk up to random NPCs and bludgeon them to death with an assortment of tools then that doesn't make for a fun game in my opinion. That being said, censorship is bad in most cases but echoing what's being said in this thread, I believe that in this game it is a good thing. There is nothing extra gained from watching those scenes except to show people how the murder actually occurred in quite graphic detail. That is something that can leave an impression on people, especially the young.

That game was full of fail imo. I bought it, got past like the 3rd mission and was like "Wow, what a bore this is" and uninstalled it. Not as funny as the others me thinks. Only a couple of good points.

I have an Acer travel mate 55210 (I think can't really be bothered to look it up). It works fine for college although with shared graphics it sucks for gaming. It also comes with a lot of rubbish pre-installed, rubbish which you can remove, but rubbish nonetheless. Unless you're planning on doing really arty stuff like video editing, graphics design etc then the Mac probably isn't a good choice. Most games at the moment are designed around Windows and Direct X so a Windows operating system would be required for most games, either that or an emulator which can be an ass to set up. Or a dual boot, but if you aren't going to use OS X for arty stuff then there really isn't much point in having it. One thing with Acers, they come with Norton. It will slow your PC down and I suggest you uninstall it when you get it (along with the other rubbish). Anywho, that's my take on it. The other thing is, laptops aren't very good when it comes to upgrading them at the moment. If you aren't planning on using it outside of your house and going loads of places and using it, you'd be best to buy a new PC.

Apparently this one was down in a weekend so I'm thinking yes the weekly thing is a bit pushing it but meh, not the one with the money. Halo has been degrading in quality anyway. Halo 2 was like being stabbed in the eyes repeatedly while having your wallet stolen out of your pocket when compared with Halo 1. Maybe because it was fresh but Halo just seems to have lost what it once had.

In which case Anywho onto the topic at hand: Journalists tend to be from the mentally retarded end of the IQ range so I wouldn't expect them to use grammar, spelling or combinations of words such as "first", "person" and "shooter" correctly. (the above cannot be said for all journalists, some of who can write very informative and articulate articles on subjects which may or may not include the words "first" "person" and "shooter")

Anyone else got this and utterly disappointed? It really is the same as any other WW2 shooter except you jump out of an aircraft for every mission. That and you get to upgrade your guns. Whoopdie-freaking-do. There really is nothing to do this game. Run around, blow stuff up, shoot people, blow more stuff up, complete mission. Booooo!

Hmm I didn't realise that photo. Good one though. I quite enjoyed the story of BioShock which gets a . Agreed with the collection quests though. Kinda annoying after a while (by the end I was just thinking "GOD LET IT END ALREADY!!" and it did a short while after ) so for that. Overall it's a but still good and worth playing imo.

I got it working yesterday, and completed it today. I must say. That was a good game. Would you believe it that someone is trying to start a lawsuit against 2K Games about this not being ready? I agree there are quite a few bugs but god damn that was a freaking awesome game. Ending was ok, to be expected really. An interesting story though.

AMD chips have the cool n' quiet technology built into them which reduces the clock speed while it's not being used. I'm using a 2400+ Athlon X2 and it uses around 60-70% of my CPU power for the game. To get it to work though I needed to start it in DX9 version instead of DX10. To do this follow the guide found conveniently here
