That was a good listen. Thanks for the find.

I completely lost interest when it said "wide arsenal of weapons and magic". It looks pretty shoddy to be honest, graphics don't look that special (for anything next gen at least) and it seems to be one of those Japanese attempts at a first person shooter... not quite getting rid of the side view punch/kick fighting game style. (Ok, Metal Gear Solid excluded I know...)

That was quite funny heh.

LCD TV as a PC monitor, good idea or bad idea?
Coldkill replied to Tanukitsune's topic in Idle Banter
You need to connect the PC before boot with the monitor on. It should pick up the monitor no problem then. What connection are you using for your PC-> monitor? With mine I was just able to plug it in, boot it up and Windows instantly recognised it as something to display stuff on... go figure... -
LCD TV as a PC monitor, good idea or bad idea?
Coldkill replied to Tanukitsune's topic in Idle Banter
This is mine It currently provides vision for my PC, PS3 and I have a Digital Tuner plugged in so I can watch TV on it. No regrets, crystal clear screen and all very nice and sleek. Anyway, that would be my recommendation. I think I've got a size up on that though. -
I'm pretty sure it was just in his head, although to be honest it's getting very difficult to tell the difference. Like when Tigh shot Adama in the eye, I thought that was totally real until it turned around and showed him alive.

Episode 4 was a bit nutty. Tyrol getting the crap beat out of him by Six and then wanting more... riiiggghttt... When the Sons of Ares (?) raided Giaus' cult hide out it brought a new meaning to the phrase "Woman beating", although when he went back there and confronted the guard I found it quite funny since Six was picking him up and moving him. You could clearly see the guard was freaked out when he was in different positions because of Six.

Enjoy...

What he said. I thought PlanetSide was an awesome game, partly because it was my very first MMO, but mostly because it was just awesome. The huge battles over key bridges and roads, the small skirmishes in the corridors of huge bases. Was all very fun indeed. My only grief with it was it's depth. The only thing you really did was kill other people and the story changed so much it was hard to tell what started the fighting in the first place.

Good read! I've played a few games where silence and the arrangement of music, vocals and sound effects have made the game far more enjoyable. Most recently, Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 does this excellently when travelling around the Oil Refinery level, sneaking around in the silence with the occasional hum of machinery going then turning a corner and hear two terrorists argue about their girlfriend's picture...

I'm currently trying to get into Medical school to do a BM, BS so am lacking the time to do much else other than read up on anatomy, diseases and stuff like that. Good luck with the PhD though! Does anyone else find it frightening that there may one day be a Dr. Ginger out there?

Aren't they just... you know... rapists and murders? Like normal ones... however normal one of those people is... Miffy, I'm not entirely sure what image the "3" is supposed to be but that looks awfully distasteful...

I use NatWest but I agree that all banks are <insert nasty name here>. Last I heard was the Officer of Fair Trading was taking the banks to the courts over their charges and/or had won a court battle over their charges. On another note, pokemon stab.

You know what I mean They can cause hearing damage to people who are innocent.

The problem seems to be exacerbated by the media. Not all young people are mindless drones who get their fun from violence, alcohol and drugs. It's just the way the young of today are portrayed in the media that gives people the image that all young people are like this. The fact that this device targets anyone under the age of 25, including babies and very young children who may be innocent is enough in my opinion to have it banned or at least redesigned so it can discriminate who is acting unlawfully and who is innocent. People who fear teenagers and young people are merely ignorant. They do not take the time to get to know those people and instantly brand them as criminals because they are young.

Woah... that's a lot of money. Looks cool though but to be honest, I'd much rather pay like £5 and just get into a proper cinema.

I quite enjoyed this one. Some funny moments in it. I think the only one I've disliked so far was the review of MoH: Airborne. But then that was an appalling game in itself ¬¬
