  1. Left 4 Thumbs

Notice, fellow Thumbites, how I stayed entirely out of that ridiculous, childish dispute? By being dead.
  2. Movie/TV recommendations

Anyone care to explain why I should care about the Director's Care edition? I can't find anything particularly succinct or compelling about it via Google.
  3. Burnout Paradise online.

I'm certainly still interested, as I've mentioned before. But... fuck me. The last update was enough to choke a horse, waddling around the 1GB mark as it was. Are you saying I have to force feed the stupid thing another 1.2GB on top of that?! Surely not. And no, no interest in Large Smurf Archipelago from me either.
  4. Movie/TV recommendations

Watched the Watchmen (arf) tonight, too. It's good, but it's so similar to the comic book that I felt like I was watching something I already knew quite well anyway. Also I can confirm that no aging avians were harmed in the making of this film.
  5. Dantes Inferno trailer

Horrible video, like a shampoo advert gone goth.
  6. Halo 3 Co-op

That wasn't tactical; you just like forcing lumpen objects into dangerous orifices.
  7. Halo 3 Co-op

    Wednesdays, 9pm BST.
  8. Halo 3 Co-op

I'd forgotten about Bungie's thoroughly excellent Halo 3 online integration. This snap from last night's shenanigans courtesy of n0wak: Cocks out Arse kicked Names taken Mercy withheld Shit rolled Boo-fuckin-yah.
  9. Halo 3 Co-op

How come only I got shot at - and subsequently killed - during The Elevator Incident? Could you just stick to silently farting next time, toblix, like any other decent human being / Covenant would? Yeah, I suppose we are... Still, it was fucking funny to see that huge fireball whoosh in under the closing bulkhead, knowing 'blix was instatoast on the other side.

  11. Miffy495, Twitter needs you!

It's why I started coming here in the first place, and now can't bear to leave either.
  12. Halo 3 Co-op

You know, I don't think I've said it before, but I really respect a teacher who's prepared to stand (right) at the back and let his pupils lead. They unlock "special" effects as well as awarding you several extra achievements.
  13. It's an upgrade from the last two sessions' obligatory patrol-car-to-the-head, so I suppose I should be thanking you. Probably, but then this happened: What you failed to mention is you fucking mowed down your fellow Occifer Vania in the process, you savage c_nt!
  14. Boycott Left 4 Dead 2!

Just for anyone else using it, Google Chrome warned me not once but twice about that site containing malware. So watch your collective step...
  15. I'm mad fer it, etc, although I insist that the subtitle for this session should be: Grippage Theft Australia We'll miss you, Admiral.
  16. Obligatory comical YouTube thread

  17. Obligatory comical YouTube thread

The best questions are those which answer themselves. This thread requires more misery/joy.
  18. Obligatory comical YouTube thread

    No.
  19. Life

No it wasn't, because a) you had to think for yourself and it doesn't involve a photograph with idiot speak plastered over it in huge black font. I approve.
  20. Obligatory comical YouTube thread

That's just fucking with semantics in an attempt at pedantry.
  21. Obligatory comical YouTube thread

How much memory do you need to render photo-realistic scenery? About 4KB, apparently... _YWMGuh15nE
  22. July 5th

    Tsk, utter twunt.
  23. Movie/TV recommendations

Watched The Departed last night. Really good cop film and I wish I'd not ignored the hyperbole when it first came out.
  24. Life

If you can get cable, don't get a domestic (i.e. BT) line. Cable is cheaper overall, loads faster, and BT are a bunch of cunts: if the property already has a BT line but it's been disconnected, bend over for a massive £120 "reconnection" (read: "we come round and flick a switch up the road") charge.
