For the first time in a while, I actually laughed out loud at this particular episode - the football scores joke was perfect. Definitely a return to form for Yahtzee--and not just because it actually made me laugh this time; I liked what was said about Portal, though he sounds off-kilter with TF2 to me (still haven't played it) and unnecessarily harsh about Episode 2. Regardless, I'm looking forward to playing all of them just that little bit more now. Thank you, Escapist and Zero Punctuation!

About bloody time! Listened to it twice now and, whilst it's not brilliant, it's much more "on form" than A Hundred Days Off. Which was shit, frankly--except for Dinosaur Adventure 3D. Also made a point of finally listening to Long Range's début album, Madness and Me, yesterday. I'd been put off doing so because I think the Hartnoll boys seemed really off key in Orbital's last "proper" album, The Altogether. Phil's personal project comes through OK though in my opinion; not outstanding, but very pleasant and listenable all the same. Going to make a point of giving brother Paul's Ideal Condition a good listening-to now as a result.

Pretty much certain that's a driver problem, to do with how their caching your desktop and window layout when switching display modes. Let us know how the driver update goes. It likely won't fix the damage already done, but it should stop it happening again. Also, top tip: I usually close every other non-essential application before launching a game, to cut down on swap file thrashing. Thrashing happens when Windows desperately tries to preserve the current RAM payload for already-running applications onto hard disk, whilst trying to simultaneously load whatever new memory-hungry application you've just fired up.
