Because poor Europe gets the shaft everytime. But Marek and Spaff will need at least 133 more people to pull off the multiplayer.

You could try this!

I need practice! Pretty early in the game, I keep dying at a certain point because I can't get past some of those guards and my combat skills leave a bit to be desired. I was telling this to a friend and he said that is the weird design of action/adventures - your character is at its weakest when you need it to be a bit stronger (well I need it to be stronger).

Lovely fear mongering. Only FOX news. edit: I love this comment from compassionrepublican - how much you wanna bet they are in with al queda. The sad part is they could make good money with ibm or cisco systems, but instead they choose terrorism. Lets hope they are caught soon by homeland security.

I'm bumping this old thread because I got A Link to the Past for my DS and it's funky playing this kind of game because... I never have (well the only non-adventure I've played in a bit of Psychonauts and some Mario vs. DK 2). I learned stuff by trial and error (I just have the cartridge) by pushing buttons and seeing what they'd do and I'm slowly figuring out what the little do-dads you pick up are (the little hearts give you health but I'm not sure what the little gems do). I spent quite a bit of time wandering around outside of the house at the beginning wondering how to get into the castle (and getting a tad frustrated):

I wasn't going to get a DS until after I finished my dissertation but I caved and bought a used regular model for $80 and picked up Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2 because it was recommended to me as a must buy. I've never owned any console before but I wanted to play some low key platform and puzzle type games for a while. I've had a hard time concentrating on the adventure games I typically play.

I agree with SpiderMonkey. It's definitely apathy but I think that early on in Bush's presidency and with 9/11 happening, he got away with a lot and that's when the apathy started. He made it a sin to even question his administration. At that time, when the media should have been tough as nails and really asking the hard questions, they rolled over. An poorly informed democracy doesn't work. The people who were asking the tough questions were being ignored or were not given the airtime or were shouted down by the right wingers. I love Keith Olbermann too - he rocks: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19588942/ (you can read what he says but it's cool to watch, no.. it's awesome to watch. I almost cried at a couple of points) And to Marek: I don't know if this place is going to go to hell. I really don't and it's scary. No matter who you vote for it doesn't seem like the things that should be happening, do. When we should be focusing on health care, education, narrowing the divide between the haves and the have nots, etc. all we have is this administration and the war and the 'fight on terrorism'. I think sometimes that the obsession with celebrity is America's way of blocking off all of the bad shit that's happening. So I just don't know what the ordinary American can do. Theoretically, contact your congressmen/women (Representatives, Senators) and bitch like hell but it seems like Congress gets stuck in bickering and minutiae and can't deal with big picture items. It's all so partisan - like Olbermann refers to in that video I linked to - it seems to be party above country with anything anymore. I'm rambling again...

It's the most fucking depressing thing to see what has happened to this country since Bush took office. Even now, Bush and Cheney (the devil) are trying to prevent the White House from being subpoened for the whole Prosecutor firing thing. There's too much and Bush's approval rating is the absolute lowest of any President, ever. You hear rumblings of impeachment but no one in our government seems to have the fucking balls to do anything about it. I have no clue who the hell I'll be voting for in 2008. Definitely not a Republican (Guiliani - blech, McCain - argh) as I'm officially a Democrat but they don't really seem to be doing anything effective either. I really don't think we need another Clinton in the White House and Hillary is too much of a panderer. I have to do more research on the other candidates. People say Obama doesn't have enough experience but hell, Bush didn't either. Could he really be any worse? I just don't get any substance behind what plans he's talked about. The election is a gajillion years away (like 500 days I heard) so there's a lot more politicking to come. That was very rambling and I apologize.

I don't think it's such a bad move to end it. One of the worst things a TV show can do is to keep itself going just because it's popular. It ends up jumping the shark and becoming pathetic. I like the fact they have a definite story they want to tell and they'll stop when it's done being told.

After you get done with what Aussie Ben wrote don't forget to enter a place that up until now you've only been able to look at (it's a place missing from one of the locations you listed).

I'm not sure about the license but the people who are making it are the original team that made the first 3 Goblins games and are essentially making it on their own. I think Vivendi(Sierra) just published them.

:woohoo: Gorgeous!! The best thing I ever invested in for my cats was a cat tree. It's a great place for them to scratch wildly and do all those cat things (jump, leap, etc.) they like to do.

Will Spaff have to wear the dress for him?

Jack Thompson: VT killer might have played counterstrike
Mel replied to Salka's topic in Video Gaming
Another tragedy, another platform for video game fearmonger A slam at Jack Thompson. I'm not sure what the prevalent opinion of him is outside of the gaming industry but it seems he doesn't get challenged enough. -
Where are you stuck exactly?

How do you classify someone who has both?

Do you want to play what's on the virtual console? When (eventually) I get one of these, I'll be messing about with VC games (I never had any Nintendo system so missed out on all of them). That and I want to bowl!

That's just cuteness overload (and he's a red head too ).

I saw this over at Penny Arcade:

I thought about the same thing. (oh and look at post 21...).

It was written by P.D. James who is best known for her mystery novels (I've read them all). This is one book of hers I haven't read yet though. Here's an excerpt from the site.

Others have been experiencing something similar (although this talks about memory leaks, others have experienced decreased frame rates without memory leaks it seems). http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2050 They haven't found out the exact problem but they're looking into it. Stay tuned to that thread I guess.
