This is the first big budget game I've felt excited about in a while. Not very, mind, and I'm totally bored of the concept of Batman*, but still a bit excited. The first Rocksteady Batman game was so good, and they really felt like they drifted more off track with each subsequent one. I hope this one gets back to it. *Rich man assaults the mentally ill. This is what most interests me about games at the moment, and makes me wary of criticising games I don't like. I understand FC2 isn't a terrible game, just not my kind of thing (it might be if I'm in the mood, but I thought the Stalker games gave me a more enjoyable and interesting harsh wilderness to learn about and die repeatedly in), and I worry about it coming over as "Wah! Wah! It's not a proper FPS" or similar bollocks. That's there's expressive range left to discover in such a well trodden genre is kind of fascinating.

I can't answer that, and I had the same reasons for hating it as you*, but I think a part of why I hated it was playing the PS3 version. Someone on here said to me that's a pretty awful port, and it certainly feels like it's more of a PC game. I loved it for the first few hours of just wandering around the world, but trying to play the game, I wanted to just mod everything out of it and walk around. * Though mainly I hated the tedious, almost instant respawns on checkpoint guards, and that on one mission, I was being sniped by people beyond the render distance. That was also after I'd spent hours finding diamonds to get a stealth suit, which seemed to do sweet fuck all even though I was crawling slowly through bushes about half a mile away. In the dark. So, uh, my sympathy. I keep meaning to return to it on PC, but there's always something else to do like unblock a sink or empty cat litter.

Do the interview, don't try to fake being a senior programmer. They've seen your resume, they wouldn't be asking if they didn't think it was worthwhile. Worst case: regard it as practice for other interviews.

Hyper-macho disciplines like Crossfit seem to have cultural problems that can lead to health problems. If you're going to try anything extreme, there's very little chance of getting to that level fast without damaging yourself.

I've only used one gas mower, but I found it way better than electric. It had a power assist, which really helped getting it up the gentle hill where I used to live. I grew up using flymos and they were nowhere near as good.

Hmm, I didn't find them too annoying, though there are a few I've given up on (later bomb body missions, and I can't last long enough with the five-way gun to encounter a blimp). The nuke body can get you a lot of them though; just wait until the thing you need to kill appears then get killed (Doesn't work on the blimp for some reason though).
