Much as I lean left myself, it's a part of the left where it seems to start. It's just fucking mental, and really really gay too.

I think I can make Thursday.

Oh, didn't mean to say I favoured renaming Christmas to Sparkle Season. It's the corruption of all such nonsense that I to. I will generally listen very attentively to anyone who lectures me on why it's important to rename a particular thing so as not to offend anyone, then gleefully steamroller their values with the first sentence out of my mouth.

That This Dwight Schrute mii cracks me up. It looks like it's in the middle of a rape and murder spree, or someone has just stolen it's flask of weak lemon drink.

Personally I think "Silver Blaze" is as good a euphemism for cum as "Sparkle". Which, incidentally, came from a thread on another gaming forum about opinionated in a way that is different from me schools in America renaming Christmas "Sparkle Season"

That they don't take much joy in their job "She can study my scarlet" "I'd traverse her valley of fear" "I'd have a second stain adventure with her" "I'd show her my silver blaze" "She could unveil my lodger" "She doesn't need a magnifying glass to make things bigger". I can't believe noone else resorted to systematically skimming wikipedia. I also can't believe just how inherently unsexy the detection of criminals and solving of mysteries is.

I love the Flashbang guys I don't think this or Jetpack are as fun as Raptor Safari, but this still made me grin from ear to ear.

Are people trying to subtly suggest that Spaff and Nick enlist? Don't do it guys! It won't be half the carefree buddy movie experience that circumstances and popular culture imply.

Ah, ok, I'll have to miss a week. Slightly tempted to call the hotel I'm staying in on wednesday and ask if they have ethernet ports in the rooms, but would guess the chances of carting my 360 to liverpool and it working well with a hotel network = approx 0

Hahaha Yes, they absolutely fucking are.

Congrats I can do Thursday the 18th, but will be away on the Tuesday and Wednesday.

During the free for all deathmatch someone screamed "Oh my god Toblix has a car!" just as he ran someone over It was also very satisfying for someone to come up the ladder onto the top of the building I was camping on and start shooting at me, but not notice the grenade I'd rolled over there just before they reached the top
-
Words cannot adequately convey the joy of using the rocket launcher to make you scream Toblix. Also, you're just as psychotic in a helicopter as a car. It's awesome Thanks guys, a good night

Wow Thunderpeel, that makes last year's Christmas thread starter look tasteful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRnyDgDYlAs

Yeah that one sent me slinking off to youtube after wilfully not doing that for the whole game... It was the only one that did though. I watched some speedruns after completing it and also found there were much more eloquent solutions for most than I'd come up with.

This thread makes me sad :-( Dan, there may be jobs here in the Midlands, but the cities are all a bit rubbish. Nottingham is especially full of piss heads and women tend not to go out here anymore due to that.

Done! Plain Sight is fearsomely addictive, even with the disapproving stares of waiting expo goers on the back of your neck

This better not be bad news

Agh. Youtube comments plus bible bashing. My head asplode. This kind of shit is exactly what Jehovah's Witnesses will say to recently bereaved people on doorsteps too.

The creators seemed very on the ball when I saw them on the IGDA stand at GDC. They're also very well connected and involved with the San Francisco games community, so I can't see them just fading away.

Wednesdays work for me.

Small town papers are particularly bad when it comes to sensationalist headline posters. Derby has particularly scintillating ones like "BT KEEP MAN ON HOLD FOR 8 HOURS" (No really), and once they had a story about a guy getting jailed for child porn, but the posters said something like "10000 CHILD PORN PHOTOS" making it look like they were advertising them.

Not completely The security guard resignation did immediately strike me as a very oddpart of the story to emphasise, and I do dislike when news sources use people who are sick, dying or disadvantaged in some way to enhance their angle. I find the BBC is mostly okay, though they do sometimes put abysmal stories up. ITN tend to be far, far worse in terms of dramatising things and exploiting people. Of course, there's an antidote for entertaining distraction to be had from all of this.
