I thought it was really awesome but I have one question... But aside from that, I thought it was really good. Christopher Nolan definately didn't pull boner of the year with this one sorry, but no one made any boner jokes yet Mark Hamill or Crispin Glover should play the joker in the next movie.

Speaking of Bruce Campbell, I'm looking forward to his next movie, Man With the Screaming Brain http://www.bruce-campbell.com/projects/screaming-brain.htm I might even see him on his book signing and movie premiere tour.

One time an employee at best buy asked me where to shelve a copy of the sims. I actually think Gamestop sucks more than EB Games, but apparently only in the city I live in. The people at gamestop try to be extreme and read egm while some of the people at EB Games are ok (some of the people at eb games still suck though). And at least EB Games doesn't try to sell you a ton of extra stuff every time you try to get something from them. Funcoland tried to sell you a cleaning kit every time you went there.

Games that don't cut the mustard...but are quite good, actually.

I thought One Must Fall:Battleground was pretty cool. It didn't get much adverstising and it got very mixed reviews (gamespot thought it was pretty good but pc gamer thought it sucked) so I don't think many people bought it. I only found the game when I was in canada. It did have it's flaws and I could understand why it got mixed reviews, but I still thought that it was pretty cool. -
This could actually work, he kinda looks like him and it's not like you need to show much emotion as a cold hearted assassin.

Actually, the sniper rifle kinda sucks in this game. It's no where near as annoying as it could be in BF 1942. Most people seem like they're just assault or anti-tank.
-
Yeah, I usually end up in first place as well, which is better than what I got in BF 1942, and way better than BF:Vietnam (in which I sucked ass). I'm not sure why it seems easier, the same thing happened with me and the transition from CS to CS Source. ok, I'll admit it. This post was just made to brag about my BF2 skills

I actually thought that the voice reminded me of the villain from bladerunner (rutget hauer) Clowns still scare the crap out of me though.

I don't want to start another post off with "Has anyone...." but I kinda have to. Has anyone played the game McKids? You played as this two kids and had to retrieve these M Card things that the Hamburgerler has stolen. It was a pretty generic platformer that had nothing to do with mcdonalds, but it used to scare me because whenever you fell into the water, you would float in it and couldn't get out and eventually, a pirahna with a cancerous lump on its head would come and kill you. It was like having some kinds of terminal illness since you knew you were going to die very soon and you couldn't do anything about it.

Anyone here ever see Killer Klowns from Outer Space? It's probably the scariest movie ever. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095444/ Manny, I believe you're referring to Mayor McCheese. Personally, I think that they should replace Ronald with the Grimace. But it seems like they got rid of the McDonalds mascots completely and now all the commercials just have people rapping or whatever and trying to be cool, because gangsta eat at mcdonalds.
-
Clowns are fucking scary. Does anyone even like clowns? I don't think anyone ever has. We even took a poll to decide if people liked clowns in my art class, and everyone agreed that they sucked.
-
Ok, so it's a pretty fun game. It's basically what you would expect, battlefield 1942 with more stuff and better graphics. I wish people would know what teamwork is though.
-
Yeah, I'm almost done downloading it now. It took forever to get a link for it that worked though.

Am I the only one who thinks it could be fake? I mean they got some pretty good camera shots in the hospital building considering that they're all supposed to be hidden.

But game retailers are only 10-20% of the game market (which is still a large amount), what about stores like Walmart and Best Buy that really don't do the thing where they use preorders to predict how many copies of the game they should buy. Best Buy doesn't seem to be too selective of which games they have at their store, they have tons of crap there. So it can't be Best Buy or Walmart's fault that copies of the game aren't there, can it? Psychonauts isn't doing that horribly is it? I mean it was on the top ten selling games for at least a week. And the game has only been on two platforms so far, one of which is considered a niche industry (pc gaming). Hopefully doublefine will make a lot of money when the games comes out on ps2. -
It had to happen eventually... I've found a game that even I think is horrid!

I didn't mean to say that all budget games are crap, just that a lot of games you seem to buy are crap and were sold for a budget price (sorry if that was offensive). I'm just wondering why you don't save your money for games that get really good reviews instead of games that are at a low price and get bad reviews (and even if you didn't know of the ratings, why take the risk?). And Jazz Jackrabbit 2 wasn't a budget game, or at least it wasn't in the USA -

Maybe it's because majesco sucks at shipping out copies of the game. When I went to best buy, I saw 3 copies of the game for PC and no copies at all for the x-box, and I really doubt that it was because they sold all their copies. Although I did cover up a bunch of of EA's games with the copies of psychonauts that they had, forcing people to be surrounded by (three copies of) the excellent game psychonauts. -

Why the hell do you keep getting crappy budget games? -
and makes his comeback with a PBS documentary.... http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/06/08/news_6127174.html It sounds like he isn't going to be making games for a while (probably for at least for another 5 years)

That's odd, I beat that level on my first try. I guess I shouldn't brag about that though considering that I had a lot of trouble with the dancing mission near the beginning of the game due to the fact that I always forgot which button was which (like getting the triangle mixed up with the square and getting that mixed up with the X). It also took me 2 billion tries for the RC plane mission.

I used to play dungeons and dragons, but now I don't since I have no friends to play it with (which is even worse than playing it with friends). I think the fact that they made 3.5 edition rules right after they released 3.0 edition rules also killed interest for me. I didn't want to buy another set of books after already getting 2nd edition and 3rd edition rules. I did play it enough though where I started to paint some of the pieces. I used to play heroclix as well, which was a turn based game where you make a team of superheroes and fight other people. I don't play that anymore though since I kinda got tired of it. I also played magic the gathering a little bit until I realized that was a scam. I should learn how to play warhammer though, I bought a ton of warhammer stuff (the original, 40k, and space hulk) for a really cheap price but never bothered to learn it.

Well yesterday on tv, I watched the movies Leprechaun 1 and 2 and the movie Steel starring Shaq. Steel is probably the greatest movie I've ever seen since Leonard Part 6 (in spanish). And any movie where a leprechaun chases Jennifer Aniston is worth buying.

Great Expectations was a fine book? For me, it was one of the most painful reading experiences I ever had. Although it's possible that it was more painful than it was supposed to be since I had to read it for school

Once I tried to connect while my brother was playing HL 2 deathmatch and it wouldn't let me. So no, you can't have two people playing hl2 at the same time with the same account.

I thought that either Space War or some other game called Tennis for Two (basically pong) was the first game ever, I suppose the first game ever would be the most important. But it's not like that no one else would never make a game if those weren't invented.
