Just to build upon that theory... Game developers are crappy business men, they sold copies of games by making good games. When the video game market was discovered by business men, they did all kinds of charts and research and stuff and try to sell games based on what game sold best last, and stole elements from that game and put it in theirs.

http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2678975 Hilarious video, I feel bad for Michael Myers though. But it was nice of him to do the telethon considering he's canadian.

Would it be a user's profile page?

I love Steve Ballmer, it's so funny that someone so insane can be one of the richest people in the world.

The game just doesn't interest me. I think that I have just become bored with the FPS genre as a whole when it used to be my favorite genre. This just seems like Unreal Tournament 2004 except you can bet on yourself in the matches. I'm probably waaaaaaaaaay off though, please explain to me how it is innovative because aside from Serious Sam 2, there's no FPS that are coming out in the next year that interest me.

I want this game to really piss of politicians but it won't unless it sells millions of copies and someone goes on a shooting spree and blames the game. At least it looks like a pretty awesome game.

http://www.bungiestore.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=322 Well, if anyone wants to help out the flood victims and wants to get something cool from it, here you go. And I was pretty sure that shit hit the fan almost right away. The first things that were looted were nonessential things like tvs and other electronic stuff from stores like best buy and guns were looted as well. And why are people shooting at help, that's only making things worse for them, I doubt that they're doing it because of desperation. Well at least convoys are starting to get into the city, so at lleast it will start to get better. This is going to turn out to be 100x worse than what happened on 9/11 though.

Even if Bush didn't win, New Orleans still would be pretty fucked up (probably not as badly, but still). New Orleans should have fixed the levees before the funding was cut or try to use money from other programs (if they could), and the people of New Orleans shouldn't be so fucked up that they're looting guns from stores and running around robbing people and raping women. But yeah, Bush should have sent as many troops and stuff as he could to New Orleans instead of say....another country. And he's not going to leave office anyway, because somehow he's going to turn it into "We all have to band together blah blah blah" and people will somehow like him more, but I really hope people are smarter than that.

I've been pretty fucking depressed the last few days because of what has happened there. The thing is, it seems like it's just the people of New Orleans that are fucked up, not mankind. When 9/11 and the tsunamis occured, people weren't pulling this kind of shit. I don't know how people are so fucking stupid that they shoot at helicoptors that are trying to help them. And christ, we should be sending tanks in there and shit, there's people that looted guns from walmart and stuff and now they're running around robbing and killing people.

I wonder how the joker is going to look in the sequel to Batman Begins.

As you may already know, the psp has already kinda died out here in America. People were pretty excited when it first came out, probably because they liked the ps2 so they assumed that the PSP was going to be a mini version of that. And it was, and it bored the hell out of everyone. Pretty much all of the games are ports and I really haven't liked anything that's for the psp except for Lumines and Wipeout. Lumines is probably the greatest puzzle game since Tetris (yes, I like it more than Meteos), but aside from that it's a waste of money. I love how everyone thought that the PSP was going to completely dominate the DS when it first came out and now those views have almost completely reversed.

For the people that believed in the Norse religion, they actually believed that the end of the world was going to come any day, and that they were all going to do. They thought that Loki was chained to some rock, and that acid was dripping on him and whenever acid would fall on him, he would struggle to get free and that would cause the whole world to shake. And since the norse people thought that loki being chained to the rock was one of the signs that ragnorok was going to happen any second, everyone would start freaking out and they thought they were going to die any second. They also thought that a long winter represented that ragnorok was going to happen, so they pretty much freaked out that period too until winter ended. Actually, pretty much anything that happened was a sign that ragnorok was going to come so the norse people probably lived in fear the whole time. At least when the christian apocalypse is supposed to come, we're supposed to go to heaven and stuff. When the world was supposed to end for the norse, everyone was supposed to be killed by ghosts/giants/whatever and that was it.

I'm positive that it let you use a shotgun in those challenges. Regardless, those challenges were probably one of my favorite parts of the game.

It did look (and sometimes the writing) like something a high school student would write for his radio and tv class, but overall I thought it was pretty funny, and Iwata's dialog was perfect. Too bad you didn't throw in any cues for crappy sound effects.

I usually never take chances with games at all. I'll usually check out a bunch of reviews of a game and see if anyone has recommended the game here before buying it. There's no point in just buying a game that looks interesting when you're at a store, there's so many other great games out there anyway that I haven't even played yet so I would rather save my money for those instead of taking a risk. I can't even remember the last time I took a chance on a game. I guess the last thing would be Prince of Persia:Sands of Time which I bought since I was a pretty big Prince of Persia fan. And the reason why you probably can't find Disney's Skate Adventure in stores is because it was released over a year ago (assuming you live in america)

When I was younger, my friend told me about how aliens were coming into our country and I then spent the next few weeks in fear that aliens were going to take over the world. I finally learned that by aliens, my friend meant illegal immigrants from mexico. I also used to think that Street Fighter the movie was good.

Even with all the zombie games being made, there still hasn't been the dream zombie game that I always wanted. In every zombie game like resident evil, you're always part of some special forces group that's trying to end the evil that's turning people into zombies. How about a game where your person isn't a hero or specially trained to fight monsters, I want to play as some random citizen of a city and spend the whole game just trying to not die. We still haven't had a game that felt like a George Romero movie where there's zombies everywhere, it feel claustraphobic even though you're in a huge city because there's zombies everywhere closing in on you, and the only weapons are everyday items lying around. I think the closest thing we have had to this was the beginning of resident evil four where you're allowed to walk around this village, but there's villages everywhere trying to kill you, and you have to run into the attic of a building and push bookcases in front of doors and kick over ladders to keep people from getting you. There are two George Romero games being made, but they look like complete shit.

I guess I'll have to import the European version (which has a better name anyway). Who would have the european version? Sometimes gogamer.com has the uncensored versions of games (like sacred), but they usually charge a bit for shipping.

Wow, no one likes Mother Teresa Personally I thought Monkey Island was better.

I named one of my dogs in Nintendogs Doofus. I guess that has nothing to do with this thread, but how much of a conversations can you have about spam* anyway. *Spam threads, not the food

The 50 invites regenerate pretty quickly as well, I remember that people in my networking class would spam each other with invites and in the next day or two, they would have 50 invites again. There really is no point in having limited invites at this point, they should just allow people to sign up for gmail whenever they want to. I'm suprised they haven't done it yet.

But wouldn't this be a good thing? Instead of focusing on developing cutting edge graphics, won't developers now focus on better gameplay in games instead of how shiny something is (I kinda doubt it)?

Viewtiful Joe as a game for beginners? Most reviews said that the game was very hard.

I never really thought that Jessica Alba was a great actress, but I lost any respect that I had for her as an actress when she blindly signed onto Sin City without even doing any research on the original source material or reading the script. Then after she found out that her character was a stripper, she threw a fit about being topless and they changed it. Not that I even cared if she was topless or not, I just thought that it was retarded that she signed onto the movie without knowing anything about her role and probably just signing on for the money (well most actors act because they want money), and not caring about her reputation as an actress.

Probably a retarded idea but what the hell... Madden 2006 Even with a monopoly on NFL games, the Madden series is just as good as it was before. Even with a monopoly on NFL games, the Madden series is just as good as it was before. Even with a monopoly on NFL games, the Madden series is just as good as it was before. Clive Barker's Undying Scary as hell and great story and graphics (for it's time) Last fourth of the game No sequel Morrowind Great graphics, beautiful world, lots of depth to the gameplay Takes hours before your character becomes "badass" The combat sucks ass Lumines Best puzzle game since Tetris Not much to do ever since I got the highest score you can possibly get Everywhere I go, I imagine colored blocks falling.
