Most N-Gage specific games suck like no tomorrow. Tomb Raider's a crappy port. The N-Gage can play lots of other cell phone games (since it's a series 60 and runs Java) so you're not stuck with just those. But as a phone, the N-Gage is still quite weak. The QD's a big improvement, but it's still ugly as sin.

I smoked for about six or seven years. I've been off it for five. I LOVED smoking. I was a very heavy smoker (2.5 packs a day on a good day). I loved smoking because: - I loved the taste - I loved the smell - I loved the way the smoke felt when I twirled it around my mouth and blew it out... I loved everything about smoking. Plus I looked badass when I did it. ...except for the coughing fits. Those I could have done without. That's ultimately why I stopped. Plus it completely destroyed my voice. When I quit, it cost about $5 a pack. Now it's up to $7.50 - $8 a pack in NYC. I couldn't afford to smoke even if I wanted to.

Yeah, that one's a bit tough at first. A tip: before triggering the mission, go grab a bike and practice the same route. Then when you actually do the mission, just take your time and you'll get it.

I haven't played enough of it to find out yet. I'm playing the other two first...I finished Warrior Within (that was GREAT), and am nearly done with Sands of Time now (that's good, but not as good). I've played enough of Harem Adventures to know that's some major false advertising in there though.

http://www.gameloft.com/product.php?product=4&product_name=Prince+of+Persia+%3A+Harem+Adventures "Have you ever entered a harem?" Oh, and Yufster: if you've got a V3, buy games directly from Gameloft. They're SMSed to your phone.

One of the nice things about my UNBELIEVABLY SEXY MOTOROLA RAZR V3 (sorry, but it costs so much, that whenever you mention it you have to yell it so you can feel cool and justify spending that much money on a freaking cell phone) is that is plays games that don't suck. I have a ton of 'em on my phone. Most of them are from Gameloft, who makes some solid games. Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within is great, it's like a SNES-era side scroller. It's a bit on the short side, but then it's a cell phone game, so I'm not expecting 20 hours of gameplay. Also good: Chessmaster (even if being beaten at chess by my cell phone makes me feel really, really stupid, it's still cool), PoP: The Sands of Time, Might and Magic, Block Breaker Deluxe, and of course...Bejeweled. Oh, and Prince of Persia: Harem Adventures isn't nearly as awesome as its title suggests.

You can have all kinds of fun with the L33t-5p34K translator and poetry. Here's my favorite one: T.S. Eliot, hacker extreme.

Like that. Only with, you know, updates and stuff.

A book's too "old fashioned." From what I "understand" the "kids" today are into these things called "web logs" or something. Start one of those. Just be sure to put an RSS feed on it. I'm much too lazy to actually manually look for stuff anymore. I prefer to let my automated software wait on me hand and foot.

Sideways was great. As was A Very Long Engagement. Probably the two best movies I've seen from '04.

I think that's a safe assumption. Or at least in the short term, support for iPhoto sharing. I thought they were going to unveil a minor update to the APX that included photo support...if only because I just got the first version, and Apple loves to do that to me.

Well, that's beside the point. The reason that tribe is considered "lost, is because they most likely integrated into some society...somewhere. Or there weren't that many tribes to begin with. That's an interesting theory as well. An ancient typo created a mystery. Stranger things have happened. -

There are actually people who believe the Irish are the lost tribe of Israel. When I was in college, one of my closest friends was a history major and and Irishman, and being a religion major myself, we joked about that quite a bit. But it's highly doubtful. More likely the "lost" tribe wound up in Africa, or India, or one of the other remote areas with large Jewish communities. In truth, I think you'll find about as many people believing that as you do my theory that Ben Stein was deep throat. (Although I'm at least somewhat serious with that theory) -

The Irish are the lost tribe of Israel. 'tis true. Okay, maybe that's a stretch. But I still love my Irish pubs. -

You may live in Ireland, but you're clearly not up on your drinking songs. Go hang out in more pubs. I mean really, what on earth do they teach you in school these days? Next thing you know, you're going to tell me you've never been forced to take three shots of some unpronouncable whiskey before the drunk-off-his-ass bartender lets you leave his pub at four in the morning. -
The stupid-small size makes for some other really cool possibilities: - You could use it as an HTPC: Add EyeHome, iTunes, Quicktime/VLC and poof! You've got a hell of a home theater setup. - It's a perfect match for those people with the super p1mped out cars. -Um...You could pile up thirty of them and use it as a render farm... Okay, I'm out of ideas. But it's really cool nonetheless. If I didn't already have an AirPort Express, I'd totally consider getting one for my home theater setup.

Pardon me for asking, but does that mean you go rolling in Kilkenny? I'm sure you'd treat me better than me old miss sporting Jenny. +10 drunk points if you catch this reference -
Trust me, you're not missing anything with Fable. Wait for the sequel, when they can finally do all the stuff they said they would in the first game.

Hah. I could say something about the last time I tried to get them to change the language in their strip, but I won't, citing my policy of not commenting in public about that particular strip. You can read their version of those events anywhere you like, or find me in person some day and I'll tell you the real story.

I'm not crazy about all the narration on the menus, actually. Menus should be quick and painless...I don't want to hear a ten second reading about each and every option. ...but that's just me. Beyond that, the game's quite funny. The gameplay's sort of average, but at least it's funny.

Tony Jay? He rocks. He's great in the Legacy of Kain games, and really, really funny in The Bard's Tale. In TBT he's the narrator who constantly has arguments with the bard. Really funny stuff. Plus he was Lex Luthor's servant on a season of Lois and Clark. *Shudder*

Pfft. Not with those specs it's not.

I recently sold off my GameCube. That thing was just collecting dust. It all depends on what games you want to play. If you're into GTA and RPGs, go with the PS2. If you're into whatever it is that Nintendo publishes, go with that.
