YES Highly recommended. It might lower my GUY-CRED by totally recommending a "romance" film, but it's awesome. Julie Delpy = swoon.

Awww. I thought it was fine! I just disagreed. Anyway, since I added you to my RSS feeder that entry will exist and continue to exist in my RSS archives. There is no delete on the internet!

I like art and I like wanking, but I don't know what that has to do with "Burn The Rope". I haven't seen this furor that you mention. I see a lot of positivity towards it, for being novel, quick, fun, with a nice "song telling you the gameplay" quirk (in other words, an essential ADD web game); but I'm not seeing it called a work of art. CITATION NEEDED.

While you're at it, watch Grave of the Fireflies.

I can't speak for him, but I'm sure it's not. I'm quite sure it's Aaron Eckhart, quite possibly from Thank You for Smoking .

This was the most SAFE FOR WORK image I could find. The others were very much so "breeding" but I thought it wise not to post pokemon cock on this here forum. Oh rule 34, you never fail.

I find your definition of "HARDDCORE SNOWING" to be quaint and pleasant. Very provincial.

So, uh, did anybody watch the premier? I have to say: most of the time, cliffhanger endings are really lazy. It's a cheap hook to get the viewer to watch the next episode, a cheap hook to get people talking and a cheap way to build tension (you have a full hour to do that people, not the last minute). That said, out of two thumbs I give the first episode a Hopefully it can keep my interest more than season three because I think I missed a third of its episodes, and yet feel like I didn't miss anything (including Starbuck's death).

Tyrol is confused as to where to stick that dildo he's holding.

I just blew a massive wad on a super top-of-the line camera a day before I quit my job (just now!) and am now considering selling all my stuff and moving to the UK. How's your day been?

You're going to get some serious linkage on those. I've already seen a few.

Have you seen the movie "Du rififi chez les hommes"? It's on Criterion. It has this amazing, long sequence done almost entirely in silence and it remains, to this day, one of the most captivating and engrossing heist sequences in film. The characters communicate using looks and hand gestures and it's very clear what is going on because of it. It's the kind of nuance and subtlety that Video game characters just aren't anywhere near achieving.

See previous page. It is very good Thanks for the "Lost Levels" -- they seem alright. Will look into it. I've been nerding out the chiptunes lately. Like, a LOT. "Video game Orchestra" and "Disasterpiece" and "8-bit operators", amongst others. Also.

A pretty novel idea for a game came to me in a dream, wanna hear it?

This is also a problem I have. Too many distractions online, I figure. That or the crippling depression. I'm not sure. And I think that manny was being a dick because you put up a great tease. I HAVE A GREAT IDEA FOR A GAME -> Click on thread -> BUT I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU. It's kind of like being roped in to something like this. The best way to get over the problem is to just set up a lot of small goals. Split the game up into little bits of mechanics/puzzles/problems and do them one at a time. It's too easy to get caught up in the BIG PICTURE, which is what is happening with my space-based passively multiplayer in-browser management game -
Been listening to Crystal Castles lately http://www.myspace.com/crystalcastles Debut album comes out Tuesday! It's like hipster indie from Toronto (we've had a good scene the last few years!) crossed with Chiptunes. I described them recently as "The Knife meets 047, but less Swedish" (and if you don't know who 047 then you are missing out on one of the best chiptune albums). Very good stuff  Actually, in general, I've been listening to a lot of chiptunes lately. Been that kind of mood. http://www.vimeo.com/649115 <- seriously rocked my shit like a Vic Viper.

uh. If it's that bad why the fuck did you sit through the whole thing? When I went to see it for a second time in December the projector had lighting issues. The film was working but it was REALLY DARK, making it difficult to discern anything (especially the early night scenes). Got a refund. I'm not going to put up with that shit.
