  1. Say Nice Things Thread

Every forum should have one of these. I like the person above me because he's invisible.
  2. Tim turns 37

Tim ages like a wine. With each year, he becomes double fine. That was incredibly lame. EDIT: And it made no sense.
  3. Say Nice Things Thread

I don't really like Kingzjester much. But I like his dog a lot. I also like his birthday cards and wonder why he didn't make me one like that?
  4. Say Nice Things Thread

I like Yufster because she sort of looks like me, and also because she likes a lot of the same stuff as I do.
  5. Tim turns 37

    Hang on a second, I wasn't lying.
  6. Star Wars...

Yes, it can. It probably will be.
  7. Tell Us About Yourself

I think he's typing phonetically with a cork accent...
  8. Intro Sequences in Games

Off topic, Syndicate had the coolest music ever.

Apology accepted. But you're right. I am a liar. I don't get it. Huh? You were right the first time.
  10. Tell Us About Yourself

Yeah. Too bad you don't have a summer in Ireland. Ha ha! Hey, did you hear about that murder on the news? The one in Piltown, Kilkenny? That was me. I mean, uh, that was right outside my house. The one I used to live in before I lived in San Francisco, obviously.
  11. Dammit, Marek switches identities!!

I'd just been reading about the San Remo Hotel in a San Francisco Tourist Guide. The name was on the forefront of my mind. It seemed like a sign. Kingz didn't change Mareks name. I suppose it could have been Chris. My money is with Trep though. Just because he seemed so innocently surprised when he discovered the name change, and pointed it out even after he hadn't pointed out all of OUR name changes. All signs point to Trep! Or at least, one. Or Deadworm, seeing as how innocent bystanders can be blamed for this kind of thing.
  12. Episodic format a good idea?

Zool? My hippie parents didn't get a TV for the first 14 years of my life, so I never saw the ad campaign for Zool. Or anything else.
  13. Tell Us About Yourself

The Russians and the Irish... so alike. ...The Russians and the Serbians. So alike.
  14. Tell Us About Yourself

No, seriously. They ferment the potato skins or something. I don't know how they do it, but they do make alcohol from potatoes. And it's illegal, because the tribe leader wants them to drink Guinness. Seriously.
  15. Tell Us About Yourself

Ah, an Irishman. How is the good old Emerald Isle today, eh??? My great great grandmother was from Ireland. Well, she was from the UK, but it's all the same. Especially with the Euro Tunnel connecting them up now. I hear you guys have alcohol made of potatoes? That's cool. Hey, here is an interesting fact about Ireland: Ireland is the only Catholic Country in Europe. Well, except for the France, technically. Which is actually Godless. It must be weird speaking gealic all day. Your English is pretty good for a second language. Are all your TV programmes in Irish too? Haha, and your video games! How bizarre to play Grim Fandango in Irish! Would they have an Irish Accent, or put on a Mexican one? Would they speak Irish with a Mexican Accent? Is that even possible?

This thread is turning out to be a big let down.

In that case, pretty much any game could have arguably been one of the greatest games ever made.
  18. Oscar

He's 14. Yesterday, he was given a car. Today, while I was at work, he played a war game. First he had to access the secret hold area where the bomb was located. This involved cracking a secret code. He tried hacking into the supercomputer system (my computer), but the time was ticking away before the alarms went off and acid filled the room. A common security measure, I am sure. SECONDS left, he smashed my keyboard in desperation. Hearing an ominous crack, he assumed he had broken in to the supercomputer system. Victorious, he made his way to the bomb core itself... THE CAR. He removed four wheels from the bomb and ripped out the seats, with seconds to spare. On coming home, I have found that my hero little brother has not only disabled my keyboard, but also an entire car. Now, my keyboard keeps having anxiety attacks, and the car... well, at least it was really, really old. Here is a transcript of what he CLAIMED he was doing with the keyboard: Me: What did you f***ing DO, you little M*****f***ing F***er?! Oscar: I was typing on it. Me: While the f***ing computer was off? F***er??! Oscar: Yes. Me: You were typing on a computer that wasn't turned on? Oscar: Yeah. Me: You expect me to believe this??! Oscar: Yes. Ade: JESUSSSSSSSSSSS CHRISTTTTTTT! THE CAR!!! Oscar: Um, I have to go now. Tell me... does anybody else have a little brother this destructive? Where did I go wrong as a sister? Is this normal? When I was little, I would have tried to get the old car to WORK. I would not have ripped the wheels off it and torn out the seats. Help me.

    HA HA HA HA!!!

Aye, they're still creating 'new builds', whatever that means. But they are testing! That's good. Haha, I bet Chris can't post in this thread. I am gonna to put "psychonauts" in the title of every thread I start from now on. ...Well, nothing new there. You are right about February being a calculated risk. I never thought about it like that. Well, that's made be a lot happier.
  21. Andy Rules

I bet you didn't know anybody who had a gut instinct about Oddworld and EA either.
  22. Andy Rules

No they... I mean... what I said was... ...ahhh... ....Yeah. EA, yeah. Dang, huh??
  23. Andy Rules

See, here is what makes me think of EA Games. Whoever the Publisher is, they must be pretty confident that they're going to be able to push Psychonauts far enough that they're going to release it in February. There aren't many companies that would have enough money to be that confident. Plus, I'd say Psychonauts was a pretty good catch for any Publisher. EA probably would have been one of the companies that could 'best accomodate' Double Fine. The reason that it's not being released earlier is probably mostly because of packaging and distributation reasons. That's not a lie, though.
  24. Andy Rules

I don't know. I think getting a Publisher is kind of a bad sign, really. I mean, when you think about it.
