Swastikas, the Star of David, Celtic Symbols... this looks like the work of a Irish Jew Nazi of possible French Origin. I am a genius! On a serious note, cooooool. P.S. Trepsie, it's 'pantywaste'. And also, I'm not invited?

All signs seem to point to 'yes'...

Being in a cleaning mood isn't good for my keyboard
Salka replied to ysbreker's topic in Idle Banter
Look, wherever. Jake, Jake lives in San Francisco. Or just outside it. It seems pretty obvious to me that the vermin seem to radiate from the general San Francisco area. I've never heard of so many people being attacked or infiltrated by bugs and other pests before in my life. -

Really? I don't think I want to live in San Francisco anymore. -
As if. Side-Note: Dear Idle Thumbs, I noticed the Gooooooooooogle adverts in the upper right corner of the forum are currently advertising a 'huge range of Scottish and Irish kilts'. I did not know there was such a thing as an Irish Kilt. In fact, I did not know that we had or wore kilts at all, here, in Ireland. Thank you, Rusalka C, Secret Russian Spy Headquarters, Left after Anthony's Pub, Ireland

What are you talking about? Us? Harping on about Psychonauts? No way.

I would just like to point out that he would in fact be the slowest person to type 'Idle Thumbs' on account of the fact that although the keys have been rearranged, the intricate alphabetic sheet of magic plastic with wires in it known as the inside bit has not changed. Therefore, any attempt to type 'idlethumbs' would be promptly met with the result 'asdfghjkl;' Man, I do so love pissing on parades. EDIT: Oh, looks like he already pissed on his own parade. What is with that? Since I got back, this has happened to me threeish times. -
Timothy Dalton ought to win an Oscar and beat Sean Connery over the head with it. It is true. He was a far better Bond. He was much truer to the books than any of the others, and he was a far better actor. And Andrew wasn't gay. He was just highly in touch with his feminine side. Like Chris.

I doubt it is going to be the original box art because I have seen that same picture knocking about for months now, since before it was canceled by Microsoft, I think. EDIT: Changed 'I doubt' to 'I do not believe', as Chris had already used the word 'doubt' just before me, twice.

I was waiting three years on the NHS for that appointment... and for what?

Happy Birthday! I was going to post a really naughty picture on this thread, but... there are children and Moosferatu's wandering about, and we wouldn't want them seeing... well... that stuff. Instead, here is another picture, which is arguably cooler: Because Timothy Dalton was the best Bond (incidentally, Living Daylights was the best movie).

All these broken promises. Tim is just like my Father.

Duke 3D has a very cool intro sequence. I think it kind of reminded me of Full Throttle, but I can't remember exactly why. Probably because of the muscular hero on a bike, with a kickass theme song.

Delicious. I wish it wasn't called Advent Rising though. It reminds me of the Advent computers at work.

Turn on TechTV now! Tim Schafer is on! And saying stuff about Psychonauts! Hurry! You'll miss the good bit! Like me. I miss the entire show. I don't HAVE techTV. But if you do, turn it on, like, about... NOW.

No, there's ANOTHER show that had Tim ON it, but we haven't located that one yet... if we ever will.

I was reading through my old Tintin comics a week ago, and I remembered how damn awesome that guy is. I grew up on Tintin (and adventure games and lego and scalelectrixs [sp]). But it struck me, when I was reading through them again, that although Tintin is a likable character... He has, like, a dog, and Captain Haddock. He has no family or love life or anything. The closest he ever got to a love life was with that little Short Round kid from Prisoners of the Sun. He doesn't even have an apartment. His job is apparently as a reporter, but we never see his workplace or anything. So how come he's such a likable character when we know so little about him? Anyway, there aren't enough threads on the internet about Tintin. Now there's one more.

Tintin is a weird little bastard. Wasn't Tintin and the Picasos that weird one with the aliens? Or was that Flight 714? I have Tintin and the Picaros around here somewhere.

He's Belgian, you motherfuck!!! From Belgiumy.

It's Unza Unza Unza Unza Unza Unza Unza Unza Time!
-
Hey, Mr Germany! Guess what? SHUT UP! We saved your ass in the war!!! ...Oh, wait... Tintin was drawn by a Belgianium artist, so I assume he was Belgian.

ShatteredSponge just shamelessly 'raped and defiled' my former childhood hero. Fuck him. AND Tintin. Apparently 'Tintin in the Congo' showed a far more brutal and racist Tintin. Indeed... And 'Tintin in the Land of the Soviets' was blatant propaganda. I really want those books now.

Off Topic... Deadworm, when did I ever say "em em em em em em em em" as quoted in your signature? I am curious as to what it was in reference to...
