We're not going to Germany apparently, which is sad, because I have an extensive German vocabulary including: Warum hasst du mich? Du hasst mich! Warum liebe du mich? ich liebe dich! Putzig putzig liebe liebe! Haben sie atomsprengköpfe?

You can be part of this clique if you let me sleep on your sofa! Then you'll understand SOOO many in-jokes!

I did actually steal it, yes then I took a picture quickly and took it off before he came back from the bathroom Rodi, Netherlands sounds awesome. Rene can speak Dutch actually, I think. Not that he'd need to probably

No Spaff isn't, he hates anything outside of Brighton Plus we're going to be on a tight budget and sleeping in cars and tents, which is the opposite of Spaff.

Listen, pigeons are awesome. Maybe in big feral groups they are assholes, but one-on-one they are totally cool. I rescued a very young pigeon a few weeks ago. It was dying on the side of the road when I found it, and I immediately said "Hey I found a pigeon! BYE!" and hung up the phone on my boyfriend before he could try to convince me not to keep it. At first she was dirty, cold, weak and only had about half of the feathers of an adult bird. I whipped out the lil' bird rescue kit from under the sink, and soon she was warm, full of baby birdseed mix, de-mite/flea'd and had been cleaned with a special antibacterial feather cleaning spray. Anyway, a few weeks of having a shit-and-seed covered bathroom is paying off. She's cool. She can recognise other pigeons in videos and images and will peck their images on my monitor in excitement. She loves watching videos, she likes listening to music, and she likes perching on my hand while she preens herself. And a few hours ago she climbed in the bath with me and took a nice long warm bath. I was totally exploded with cuteness. I just had a bath with a pigeon. Anyway, you should know that pigeons are very cool birds and if you ever see a baby pigeon dying, you should try to rescue it because they're awesome and you will feel very happy for rescuing such a cool creature. The only downside is that they take a huge shit approximately every 3 minutes, so beware.

It took me so long to figure that photo out. I thought my hand was my forearm and that I was terrifying.

Being unemployed is boring, isn't it Nick?

In Ireland they put stray cats down, so I smuggled Mr Manager into England on a Ferry from Ireland in the dead of night. We made an incredible 12 hour journey together from Waterford in Ireland, all the way across the sea and then from Wales to Brighton on an overnight train. He is adorable. I want to smuggle more animals.

Don't think about the Credit Crunch. Don't worry. Just look at this photo.

But since I did it online there was no option to give money or bank details, so do they send an invoice or what?
-
Yes I thought I had until april too, then I actually went to do it and they told me NO! HAHA! TRICKED YOU! You actually have until last week!
-
You guys have excel and receipts? Did I miss something? Am I going to get arrested by HMRC now? Nach, when do they actually take the money from you? Cos I don't recall giving them bank details or anything so I'm a little confused. Do they send out a letter requesting the cash? And if so, when? Is it in April?

She told me about it years later in one of those typical "we gave up so much and life was so hard because we raised you kids" kind of talks. You know, how I should appreciate things more because when I was little, times were harder, blah blah blah. Yeah I'm unemployed at the moment, I got made redundant, but oh well. I'm not going to starve. And if I do, at least I'll lose some weight and be totally slender and hot and stuff. And maybe living on the street will give me an awesome tan. You gotta be optimistic about this stuff right? Yayyy a recession, FINALLY I will be beautiful! They should put me in charge of the economy, I'll fix it with my optimism.

When I was little my mum told me about how when I was little there was an economic crisis and everyone was unemployed and it was the worst shit ever, but that turned out okay, so whatever. Deep huh?

"Science is like a religion".
-
Yes vegetarians can sometimes be aggressive pushing their ideas, so can anyone. You're being aggressive pushing your ideas. I was aggressive pushing this idea. I was aggressive yesterday pushing a certain type of food on my cat. Why is a vegetarian getting special attention here, why on earth are you saying that vegetarianism is in any way like a religion? Why is this important to any conversation at all ever? Because by that logic I could say that eating meat is a religion, because I've met people who are forceful about that. Or liking cats is a religion, because I've met some people who like cats more than dogs and are very opinionated about it. Hey liking dogs is a religion too. So is liking rats. So is liking Red Stripe more than Stella. So is liking white wine more than red wine - I'm very opinionated about that, and if someone would like to disagree and say that red wine is better then maybe that's a religion too. All with a lowercase r of course. NO THIS ISN'T HAPPENING. BYE.
-
No I was referring to this: I don't think those things can be referred to as religions correctly, I mean "vegetarians/vegans"? You may have met one or two who were a bit vocal about what they do, but I've met FAR more meat eaters who have been hideously anti-vegetarian or come out with retarded statements like "but that's terrible, you'll never taste a mcdonalds hamburger!" So if you say that vegetarianism is/can be a "religion" then so can eating meat, and so can anything else, which makes the word "religion" pointless and is completely NO. I REFUSE TO GET DRAWN INTO AN INTERNET DISCUSSION ABOUT RELIGION. BYE.

Let's not get vegetarians/vegans confused with animal rights activists ¬¬

I've recently been reading about the way animals are reared and killed for consumption and it's pretty upsetting. Though I've always been concious about the decisions I make regarding meat and egg purchases, reading the details of the unnecessary suffering that animals go through just to produce cheap low quality meat is really upsetting and spurred me to start a thread about it, in case some of you don't already make awesome purchasing decisions when buying your meat. Yay! I hope you guys choose your meat/eggs/milk wisely. Please always choose free range, freedom farmed meat. If you can't afford to buy free range meat then don't buy meat at all (Dan ¬¬). It's only a few £s difference and helps to support farmers who treat their animals with respect and give them a decent life before they end up on a plate. Lots of people don't think about what they're buying. They buy the cheapest meat available without a thought to the suffering of the animal that meat came from. Please don't support this If you want to be especially cool and sexy and awesome, you would also ask restaurants if the meat they serve is from free range animals, and you would not buy products containing eggs that you don't know are from free range hens. I admit this may be easier for me than it is for some, as I live in Brighton where people are quite conscious about this sort of thing. But make an effort anyway plx, because that makes you super extra ultra cool. People who buy cheap intensively farmed meat are assholes. Don't be an asshole! Buy Free Range! Think of the animals! Meat from sad animals tastes bitter and salty. When you eat a Tesco Value Chicken Breast, what you are tasting is the taste of suffering, pain, bewilderment and anguish. Bye!
