  1. All the praise for its uniqueness stokes my curiosity, but all the complains about its ridiculous difficulty are discouraging me from installing.

Yeah, this game doesn't hold your hand in any way whatsoever. You will need to restart the game multiple times until you figure how to best manage your color. Obviously, this sounds like a major design flaw, but I've been able to look past it, because the world and story is so fascinating.

  2. Tell me more, tell me more!

Well, it's kind of like an adventure game, and an RTS, and something that is very dififcult and frustrating, but it's fun!

You're some kind of lost soul, and you need to bring color back to this "Void". Color is everything in the game, it's your health, ammunition, and currency, so managing it carefully is key to doing well.

Here is an intro gameplay video from the German version, which is quite different from the English version.

  3. " PAX 09: Ron Gilbert !! "

Idle Thumbs kicks off its PAX coverage and continues its trend of interviewing Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert on a bidecennial basis with this hastily-edited affair. Enjoy.

Games Discussed: DeathSpank, The Secret of Monkey Island, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge, World of Warcraft, EVE Online, Animal Crossing

Figured this episode could use a thread, great interview with Mr. Gilbert!

  4. I share your sentiment, I recently downloaded the game as well after contemplating a purchase. It took me a few hours to figure out how to get it to run properly on my video card, and upon actually playing the game, was very disappointed.

I loved Chaos Theory, but this game doesn't even deserve the Splinter Cell name. It doesn't "feel" like the others do at all.

  5. The movement of the character looks spot-on as do the backgrounds, but the facial features seem to be out of proportion. Still impressive in every way though.

There was also alot of potential for a cheap scare in there.
