What. The. Fucking. Fuck. ? This new PR guy, Chiullan, sounds about as much of a clown as Christoforo. Why is he doing the company's dirty laundry in public? Sharing emails about how his predecessor is so terrible? It's insane! It's like a petty fight between two children. "He didn't count on the fact that I anticipated all of this and have been a computer hardware and web tech since I was 14." It's douche versus douche. He should be trying to distance himself from this mess, not raking more of it up. Jeez.

Oh, I forgot you were away. I hope you're having a good time.
-
Hmph.

More BS, but no more than anyone else would say in that situation. Interesting that he claims he was only doing customer service as a favour. Makes the company that hired him all the more responsible, especially if they knew about the previous complaints against him. A very serious accusation about his predecessor, too. If he's not completely right, he'll get sued for libel. I think it's time to leave the guy alone. I kind of feel sorry for him now. He was an asshole and he got bitchslapped... By the internet.

I foresee a new career path for Mr Christoforo.
-
? I believe so.

Yikes, I would have expected the last part to read: "We hope we can push on past this and put the errors of the past behind us." THEY hired the guy, after all, and it wasn't the first time he'd gotten involved in bad PR for the controller. Instead they're letting Paul take the fall, and trying to sound like they're taking the high road. I guess that assume that all gamers are hormonal 14 year olds with anger issues, and so are trying to join in on that wave. Another crappy PR company?

Yes, I forgot to mention that the pun was a reference to the very scene, giving Holmes no time to prepare any animations or puns. Also, can I say that I didn't make the connection that Holmes was supposed to have invented the car?
-
Did I point out the logical flaw in Holmes here? There's no way Holmes could have because he was by Moriarty at the time he was supposed to have switched .
-
Eh? So people were setting up a new account and paying $1 just to get one lump on coal...?
-
Here's been my experience with the Sherlock Holmes movies: I was super-surprised and delighted at how much I enjoyed the first one. Then I decided to watch it again and found it to be nowhere near as good as my first experience. The second one genuinely seemed to reach the heights I remembered the first one reaching (as I had much higher expectations this time around, and so wasn't going to be won over by mere surprise), and so (to me) was the better film.

How?
-
Ha! I'll take your coal. Actually I wanna keep all my coal and not craft it. If people don't want any of their coal, send it to me. I'm going for the big prize...
-
Anyone have Worms Reloaded they wanna trade?
-
Oh wow, I just found this on the Ocean Marketing site: "Your Brand is no stronger than your reputation - and will increasingly depend on what comes up when you are Googled."
-
Take that! I hate poor customer service. Hurrah for the internet.

So? Now you can buy L4D at 50% off AND another game for 50% off.
-
Got 9 now, but I tried to install Fate of the World only to discover that Steam's servers are "too busy"... I guess everyone is taking Boxing Day to play these things, lol.
-
So I've managed eight Steam objectives so far... How's everyone else doing?
-
Huh. I can't gift Portal to Cult of Jared because he already owns it. Weird. I just got Super Meat Boy thanks to a trade with Thompson, so that's up for trading, too.
-
Absolutely!
-
I'd also like to trade something, if anyone would like to. Still got Portal and MI:SE... And some coal.
-
I've won 50% off any Valve game and 50% off Assassin's Creed 2 Deluxe. Pretty chuffed! I also have The Secret of Monkey Island: SE and Portal to give away to anyone who wants them. (I just discovered this.)

Ah, The Wire. I'm honestly of the opinion that the world would be marginally better if everyone had seen it. I think there should be a "recommend The Wire" day, so that us Wire bores get to gush whole-heartedly without guilt for one day a year.

To be fair, they did their erratic driving after they'd left town.
