I got Wax Off! Hurrah! What a little sod it was too. This is still a great game. It's a shame more thumbs haven't bought it. PS - I've only just noticed that this is the worst sounding game of all time. What's next? Algebra Battles?

Maybe they don't know just how many people are interested in it. Petition?

We can only hope

Is it wrong to laugh my ass off at this despicable human being who prayed on the victims of violence? No, it is not. Buh-bye! -
And Jetpack Brontisaurus is finished, too?!

Game journalism is a joke (no matter from where you view it)

Yup, that does stink. A press release should be nothing more than the beginning of some research into an article, but these days it IS the article. A sad and annoying state of affairs -
I think it's automatic, because it seems to happen every single time Of course, you could argue that it's any one of the civilians calling the police. Has anyone managed the ten cars in an explosion thing yet?

It's annoying, isn't it?

I've only just learned that the two guys behind Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis have teamed up to create a new adventure game called 'Mata Hari'. I need to know more about this and/or discuss it! http://www.matahari-game.com What does everyone think? Will it be another lame adventure game that flies below the radar or will it be another chunk of the post-LucasArts renaissance along with Sam & Max?

Groovy As long as there's mirrors I'll be able to watch them... eventually

I wonder if Peter Jackson will redo the special effects for some special edition in the future? Unlike Lucas, I trust Jackson to just go back and tighten everything up.
-
They're not taking down epsidoes of ConsoleVania are they?
-
why are they removing content? I've still not managed to watch them all yet :/

It's a shame because the first game (not even sure about the second) was actually really good. I'm sure it's dated now, but the level design and gameplay was excellent... AND Lara Croft had perfectly normal sized breasts.

I played Legend and I think there was auto-aiming. Wasn't anything special, though. Very average... as I think all Tomb Raider outings have been since the first two(?).

lol. Also, I don't think I'm alone in enjoying our Pokemon Friend status on Google. As long as it only stays in that one thread. You can, of course, tell Google et al not to view certain URLs, so this could remain a private forum if we really want it.

I don't think I've ever seen her praised for her creativity and it's certainly not one of the reasons I consider her to be an excellent writer. The way she knows how to tell a story, keep the reader guessing and perfectly capture the feelings and emotions of being 13, 14, 15, etc. -- plus her ability to continuously stay true to her characters... These are the things I respect. I guess this is getting OT... I wish I could say the same for His Dark Materials, but I don't feel as though the series has any heart (although I'm only two thirds of the way through book 1) - I just don't care the for the characters, no matter how well-constructed his universe is. *shugs* I guess we appreciate different things...

Sorry. I know it sounds terrible, and I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but Harry Potter (I feel nauseous saying it) rocks. Truly. I was the most anti-HP person in the universe. It just looked like camp nonsense wank to me. But a bunch of people I respect told me how good it was and, not wanting to be the type of person who complains about things he doesn't know about, took the time to read them. So, um, yeah, that JK Rowling is one talented writer (the first two books kind of suck, though -- and the first third of book five desperately needed an editor with balls -- as did the epilogue in book seven... but other than that...)

I just did all mine online... Whole thing (from send off to return) took two weeks No mention of any controller tricks though... Sounds very weird?!??

What the heck... let's make Idle Thumbs even more exclusive and cliquey!

Also, heads up: The Mass Effect add-on mission thingie is on sale at the moment. It's 300 MSP instead of 400. (Is it worth picking up?)
