For the WHOLE town to immediately come running with guns out to try and kill me because I opened a door that wasn't even locked? I didn't kick it in (knowingly, at least). I certainly didn't pick the lock. As far as I'm concerned, I simply turned the door handle! As a gameplay issue it's pretty shoddy if you ask me, especially since it was an accident -- a gamer's honest mistake. There's not a "kick door in" option, it's just "open door". Except this door: "Whoops! you've opened a door that you weren't allow to open and the whole town knows about it! They're all coming to kill you right now." It's all a bit weird, but thankfully, since I resolved it, it's not gonna spoil my enjoyment or anything. I'm just going to be extremely careful in the future! But I am surprised no-one else has encountered/been annoyed by this. (It feels like a bit of an Oblivion-ism, if you will.)

WHAT. THE. FUCK. I'm four hours in. I've just spent the last two talking to everyone in Megaton and exploring everything. Then I accidentally opened the door to the Armory when it was RED and now the whole town wants to fuck my ass to oblivion. The game auto-saved as I immediately back-peddled and now I just keep re-loading in front of a massive angry mob. All that talking, all that exploring and now my game is fucked?!? What the hell??

You can easily sign up for a US account and get access to all these things. The only problem is that you need to buy US MS points from eBay...

This is getting very silly and comments like this aren't going to help. The only person getting upset was Zaarin, which is a shame. Instead of saying "fair enough, I'll give it a go" he just made it worse... Yufster took Z's initial pretty damned obnoxious comment and tried to steer his thoughts towards something less inflammatory. Jake's tone can be a bit harsh, but it wasn't anything that bad. So, er, I borrowed my friend's copy. Haven't got anywhere it in yet, although liking the tutorial so far. Just one question: I really want to link up my XBox gamertag with a Windows LIVE one, but you need the CD Key from the box. Is this thing actually unique? That is to say: If I use it, will it bugger it up for him and prevent him from using it? I assume it's just something you use to enable Windows LIVE and not actually stored anywhere or anything(?).
