Errr... It IS "five games for the price of one", it's NOT "five FULL PRICE NEW games for the price of one". I'm very disappointed in you Elmuerte.

I have HOW many unbeaten games? *foams at mouth*

Woo! I've nearly beaten S&M Season 2... and I totally loved it, too! -
I really don't see what posting the home addresses and phone numbers of people does for ANYONE (thumbs down!) Although it did, at least, allow this to be made:

Oh, fuck?! Lolz! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8089102.stm

It was all making sense a minute ago...

Whoops!

I think the biggest problem is that the "non-racist" UKIP actually managed to beat Labour!

Can I just share something with you...

Hack? You mean dropping it into the "skins" folder and selecting it from the skins menu from within Steam? -
Ninja Gaiden Black was awesome I know what you mean about his "12 year old boy" sensibilities, but he's not as bad as the guys who put together, say, Rumble Roses XX.

I'd have to say that it looks a lot better "for real" than in the preview -- not exactly sure how, but it does! -
It's my birthday tomorrow. All presents should be sent by 7pm GMT in order make delivery for tomorrow. Larger presents should be shipped by FedEx NextDay. There are no excuses!

Nice to see somebody's trying to get in early for next year

Any particular reason or just in general?

Hey, it was just passing comment based purely on poor memories!

Really? Wtf?! Edit: No, it's not just me. If I click here the Thumbs server tells me the file doesn't exist: http://www.idlethumbs.net/images/thumbsup.gif The thumbs no longer exist!!! (Did anyone save a copy?)

Ah haha! I wondered what all the L4D2 Boycott threads were for... Comedy effect!

Yep. I think provided he just keeps his ego in check (everyone in the world loves you? must be hard!) he'll do a good job. Whether or not he's recognized for it is another matter.

Lol! That was brilliant and very true. I have to say that I don't mind that sort of sci-fi, though, in fact it's sort of necessary. If you're going to experiment with technology then the reader needs to know how it all works, to a degree, at least. "Jake and Jyll boarded a typical example of public transportation for their day and age, and soon found themselves at their destination." Lol. (Sorry, I just cracked myself up.) I mean, if you took out all the technology references, wouldn't it just be "fi"? Still, I suppose it doesn't need to be quite that blatant and soulless! I would recommend: The Stars My Destination by Alfred Bester The Forever War by Joe Haldeman Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes They do have certain elements of what you described, but they've also got a lot more to them

You'll hear this from a lot of British people, but we only mean it half-jokingly: Does a Obama have a brother you guys could spare?

It's easy to say "oh they're a bunch of morons", but really they're just normal people with fears and insecurities that the other parties failed to address. It unfortunately leads people to feel that they've got no other choice, which is incredibly lame. I lived in an area just outside London where the BNP took hold. A year after his term began the MP was forced to resign because he didn't bother to attend meetings... I laughed my ass off, especially when the BNP came canvassing again ("This time it will be different!"). In reality, these people are not serious politicians, they don't really have any policies or interests outside their one (unrealistic) goal. They're just people running on fear and paranoia, trying to get others to buy into their own fear and paranoia. It's a sad day for my country, but I blame the people who didn't bother to vote and the other parties for not putting up a good enough fight. Gordon Brown, it's time to go... you're killing the opposition.

Where did the board complaining sub-forum go?
ThunderPeel2001 replied to toblix's topic in Idle Banter
I was going to complain that the official Idle Thumbs Tag Cloud sucks... "Toblix complains" is TINY! Edit: Bizarrely, it's now been fixed! -
Good lord! Tim Schafer had this to say: Any of you within the industry know of this happening to a game in the past/any idea what's likely to happen?? I can't understand HOW this could happen... If DoubleFine failed to produce a finished game on their agreed deadline, then surely they would have been in breach of contract?
