Totally, and with the availability of digital distribution these days, there isn't much of an excuse not to make them available for some money. I REALLY wanted to play the EGA version of Monkey Island... now, where the hell am I going to get that?! (I guess I could just *not* play it.)

Not sure about that... it killed Napster. Really, at the end of the day, they're fighting a battle they can only ever lose. The best thing would be for everyone to meet half-way. Don't ask me how, but it's the only realistic solution... Otherwise this is just going to turn another "war on drugs". Or as Bill Hick succinctly put it: Make everything legal for those that want it. For those that don't want it, make it illegal (and don't worry, we're cracking down on it). That way everything would be exactly as it is now, but without all the fuss.

That's fucking horrendous, I really feel for you Kroms. It's horrible to think that these things still go on, but of course they do, and in a lot of countries, too. I heard similar stories about China from friends. Horrible. I should really join Amnesty and put some money where my mouth is.

I know he had a difficult childhood, and god knows that becoming famous certainly didn't do him any favours... I also know that he was probably guilty of that first child molestation charge (judging by the documents that were leaked), and generally extremely eccentric... And, although I was initially shocked to read about his demise: I just don't care! Except I can't joke about it for fear of upsetting those who are sensitive... so I'll just keep respectfully quiet. I have to say though: MJ was the self-anointed "King of Pop". Elvis was THE King.

There was definitely a "size" over substance thing. It's not like I felt KOTOR was particularly claustrophobic... They could have kept it like that.

I'd like to them to take a little more time adding details to the world. A fine example would be "lady escort" person that you meet on the Citadel in one of the early missions. She's supposedly exotic, alluring and powerful, and it takes a bit of effort before she'll even meet you face to face. Men (and women (and aliens)) are supposed defenceless to her charms... When you finally meet her: It's the most underwhelming event ever. Not only is her room bare, apart from one piece of furniture, but her character model is exactly the same to that of her hand-maiden (particularly plain, too). It just felt really unfinished. Also, after getting the code for the little droids who maintain the Citadel, I was hoping to learn a bit more about their "mysteries" -- but all that hard work was for naught.

Damn those studios!
