Happy Birthday and all that.

Doh! (Much funnier. Thanks, Chris.)

God, there's just TOO many adventures around these days. Anyone remember the halcyon days on the early 2000's when there were none??

Aha! That's very true. I wonder if the people who had difficulty weren't using the right psy powers? Anyhoo, the figments was more of a nightmare for me, especially on that Dancey/Race level. Luckily an amazing person put together a FAQ that listed precisely where every fragment was in the game... I thank that person to this day, otherwise I never would have found the final 3 or 4 that were killing me. My only other complaint was the whole Arrow Head monetary system and the fact that everything was so expensive and it took forever to collect a decent amount of arrowheads. Plus, you were given no hints as to what things were important/useful to you at the beginning of the game (or indeed what anything actually did). I mean, even the arrowhead compass thing was something like 250 arrowheads...!

Grand Thumb Auto XXVI: A Turbulent Wreturn
ThunderPeel2001 replied to Wrestlevania's topic in Multiplayer Networking
Awesome...! I have my XBox back so I can finally partake in these weekly meet-ups. Not tonight though, I still have my room to sort out, but next looks promising (Thumbs Up Icon) -
That's one part of it... but, in all seriousness, I would like to know your feelings about EMI after just playing through the others.

Once again I have to say: I've no idea why people found the Meat Circus to be so difficult...? I would NOT consider myself to be an especially skilled games player. I used to be a gamestester and I know how good some people are and how distinctly average I am. I just played, enjoyed and completed Psychonauts years after everyone else, completely unaware of the so-called Meat Circus issues. It was only a long time after I'd put the game away that I learned about the controversy surrounding the difficultly of the last level, and I was totally confused... I didn't notice ANY spikes in the game (except maybe the cube level -- see, I bet you all found that really easy, didn't you?). So I tried to do a bit research to understand why players (who were better than me) were found the last level so difficult. Here's the trend I noticed: They were using keyboard/mouse to play the game. Everyone who agreed with me that the Meat Circus was fine were using controllers. I'd love to know if this still holds true. Also, Brutal Legend stuff.

Well, I wonder how you're going to feel about the last quarter of the game? (*rubs hands in anticipation*)

I met a rather cool dude on my travels who part-times as a clerk in the Cape Cod area... He knew more about games than anyone I'd ever met, and was very enthusiastic, too. So if you live around that area, check out the Game Stop and ask for Ryan

Stop pretending you like games!

Cool (I'm also a massive FF7 fan, too ).

It is fun to see yourself improve, though, and comparing yourself to others can be useful in that respect. Still, I haven't really done that since Guitar Hero II. (It seems a lot less applicable in Rock Band -- which I guess is your point ) If only I could 5-star " " on medium. I periodically go back and 4-star it, over and over. It's my nemesis

Well I didn't make the video... so a more useful post might have been: "The name of the Who song is actually Baba O'Reilly, not Teenage Wasteland! (For anyone who cares.)"

Well I just spent yesterday getting the last of my stuff from my ex's and saying a horrible and very painful goodbye.
-
Man, you have no idea how good some of the guys on this forum are... 100% on medium? I believe Miffy and TommyGun have both completed everything on Expert. Also, I know (at least) N0wak is pretty awesome, too. They shame the rest of us.

I love the FF series, but I've not played Crisis Core. It's good then?
-
Like the Star Wars: Clone Wars franchise? I hope they're knee-deep in a new non-MI related "update" (Tie-Fighter? Yes please!), so they can come back afresh and do an awesome 2D/3D version of MI2.

Also, John Hughes ZOkNIUw0c2s Also, you should read this (if you in any way enjoyed his movies): http://wellknowwhenwegetthere.blogspot.com/2009/08/sincerely-john-hughes.html

Wow, I'm amazed there was so much to talk about from that one blog post. Seemed pretty straight forward to me

The ending was horrendous the first time I saw it, but now I realise it's a "happy" ending of sorts.

Crikey, sorry to go back on topic, but: There's less than a month before Beatles Rock Band is released!

Awesome! I love Terry Gilliam (and Brazil is supreme!).
