That's all I see.

Definitely. Plus, every improvement over the first mouse has just been masturbation, if you ask me. Ergonomics is for wusses!

Don't ever be tempted to play Midnight Club: Los Angeles.

There were deals on PvZ and Machinarium?

Ha! Is that where the name comes from? I never made the connection. I was actually thinking of this: Also, who knew Cisco was such a versatile name!

I had no idea there were VIDEOS! -
How about Cisco?

Preferred this. Shame the sound is so quiet/distorted... best played loud. 4-7qrTkwkic 3AEoeKHeMeU fw6IqLitSQY (Bill Hicks took a VHS camera and made a little movie with his friends. Those are Hick's parents and Hicks does all the voices.)

How would anyone think that your post wasn't genuine? (It's not like we don't have developers on here...)

It's on my Top 250 IMDB list, for sure. I'll get there.

It really is horrible, isn't it? I've gone through many, many times under the visa waiver program (ie. tourist), but I've also been some sort of Alien in the past (back when I was married living over there). This last time going through, the conversation went this like this: Man: Where are you staying? Me: At a friend's. Man: How did you meet him? Me: I met him when I was last over here. Man: What where you do doing here last time? Me: I was living here. Man: Under what visa? *panic sets in as a I realise the complicated story that I might need to explain* Me: Er, I had gotten married to someone. Man: So you had a Green Card? Me: No, er, had Resident Alien or Non-Resident Alien visa, I can't quite remember. It was in my previous passport. Man: But you don't have one now? Me: No, we broke up. *man glares at me* (etc.) It was hard to hide my panic when I started thinking, "Oh my god, this sounds terrible! What a ridiculous story to try and condense in a few sentences... it sounds so suspicious! He's probably going to not let me in!" Absolutely horrible, although it was all fine in the end, and the guy was perfectly fine, too. Nerve wracking, though -- even though I had nothing to hide! Congratulations on your citizenship... and good luck with the INS! :/

When you've been hanging around in California, San Fran is suddenly, and bewilderingly, a lot colder than you're expecting. You may even look out the windows and think, "Ah! Sunny! Nice and warm!", until you get outside and go... "This doesn't feel right..."

It's nice to see a new wave of people enjoying this awesome game.

Dress warm... it's freezing there!

I really hate those interviews. Even though I've got nothing to hide I always feel really nervous. What did you say? That you're just having an extended holiday or that you planned to travel round the country for 90 days? How is your trip going, btw? Made many friends out there? Someone I know is getting ready to put on his first stage production in LA. Shame I'm here and can't see it I think his blog, and homepage with video introduction, might have given "the game" away long before that post. Besides, it's hardly a confession, he's not breaking the law nor professed any desire to.

Started playing Fable II just recently and I got to say: Really enjoying it so far. A vast step forward over the first one. Great stuff

That was hilarious! That one game I came in for (Cops N Crooks) was SO much fun. I forgot how good GTAIV multiplayer is. I'll be definitely making more of an effort next week. Highlights: - Crooks: Gwarek driving us over a fire hydrant and the car spinning upside down while bouncing on the water stream... for quite some time as we sat helpless, spinning around. Never seen that before! - Subsequently getting mercilessly slaughtered by the cops in about two seconds. - Cops: Chasing after the Crooks (I got to drive). An intense chase, finally catching up to them, slamming the cop car in their side perfectly, flipping them over and making them to stop. Then Gwarek and I mercilessly emptying our guns and killing the pesky criminal passengers, winning the game -- without evening leaving the vehicle. Best bit: Our team winning by one point! (For no explicable reason other than the fact that we were obviously "1" better ;P) Great fun. Must do again! -
I checked out Mass Effect on my PC last night very quickly... I was expecting it to look SO much better than my 360 and run SO much quicker. Sad to say that it looked about the same... and was quite jerky, too. I had no idea it was such a demanding game.

Wow, that looks a lot better. I wonder how long before Valve shut him down?

Nope, the stars are in all versions. You don't get anything really as a reward for getting them (not even a trophy/achievement), and they certainly only superficially change the ending (ie. they don't really at all)... Considering the amount of time and effort required to find and get these things, I don't think it's "cheating" to get a list of the levels they appear in. (See below.) Although they don't really change anything, they're still quite gratifying to get, and it's nice to know you've completely finished the game. There's a nice video guide on YouTube once you get stuck (some of them are so insanely anal that I don't think anyone would (should?) spend the amount of time necessary to figure them out). The last one is quite gratifying to figure out, though. Here's the levels they appear in (you can collect them in any order, except for the last one). 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. As for the time trials, they do nothing except force you to solve the puzzles you've already solved in different, more efficient, ways. So it's really a way of adding more puzzles to the game, which is cool. They don't do anything else, though. Nor does anyone else. Probably symbolic, but who knows.

Currently reading Easy Riders, Raging Bulls by Peter Biskind. A smutty account of how all my filmic heroes are actually raving nutcases (at least that's what I've taken from it so far). Dennis Hopper is a raving, insecure, violent lunatic (or at least was) -- not that he is a filmic hero of mine or anything, but the excesses reported in this book are well... unbelievable. Crazy times. Still, I'm getting my head around just accepting these people for who they (were?) and enjoying their work. I hope I still respect Scorcese by the end of it.

Surely chavs would be our "red necks"? Although, I imagine red necks to be well into their 40s/50s... whereas I imagine chavs to be around 16.
