Jesus Christ using tits and ass to sell your fucking games

That Soul Calibre change really annoyed me. It was so unnecessary. Lol. -
Battlestar Galactica (BSG) and spinoffs

I didn't think that was so dumb, but yeah, it's stretching it, I guess. It definitely becomes "less realistic" (by your definition) as it goes on. But it's still also very good. -
These images are worthy of praise! (At least from me. Wow!)

Nope. They've "progressed" since then. One woman has declared war... -
Daaaamn. Well as long as it doesn't become a series of missions and sub-games, this could really rock. I got a bit concerned with the idea that you could suddenly be attacked by a wolf while riding your horse, or that you might have defend yourself from vultures (?) after a bloody battle. If it's as truly organic and open as that trailer suggests, it could really kick ass. Also: The horses look awesome!

Grand Thumbs Auto 53: The Theme from Mario Land
ThunderPeel2001 replied to Patters's topic in Multiplayer Networking
Lol. Very good, Mr. Miffy. It wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't been playing GThA as far back as Round 2(!!!) Apparently I'm just forgettable... but I shan't let that be the case in the future. YOU WILL REMEMBER MY NAME!!!! -
"I look like a suit, but I'm really cool. You betcha!"

It gets better... plus it really is charming.
-
It could be back on, though. No reason to give up hope just yet... right?

Great things all round... Also, videos! Looking forward to seeing them Also: -
I understand you, but that's not what I saw. Here's a 6 frames-per-second Guybrush (the dot represents a second - it's not perfect because I couldn't give a frame 0.1666666r seconds).

Come now, Miffy... Save all that aggression for when you've a rocket launcher in your hand! -
This thread is mindblowing! I can't get over that GameCube thingie... and Mario uses his HANDS?! I think not: If you're a little to the right of the block you're smashing, then his hand wouldn't hit it, right?
-
It does? I've heard "the devil finds work for idle hands", but nothing to do with a playhouse?
-
I did some tests and it seems that MI1 and MI2 run at about 6fps. My tests weren't amazingly scientific, however (I just put the walk cycle sprites into an animated gif and played with the number of frames per second until it roughly matched what ScummVM looked like).
-
It became a platinum selling hit.
-
Just like they did with the MI:SE... No wait.
-
Sounds promising I hope they remember one simple rule about Sam and Max: They're at their best when they're irreverent in the face of imminent peril/serious situations... I don't think they're as funny when they're just irreverent for the sake of it. (I say that because I've only just realised it myself, after years!)
-
Because he's just a sprite that's moved across the screen by the game engine... right? I wouldn't mind knowing the fps of those old games, actually. (Note: FPS != refresh rate.)
-
They do relate... in vague (and often contradictory) ways.
-
That they don't make any sense, have any consistent theme, seem related to the game (except in very vague ways), or really add as much to the experience as the designer thinks they do.
