Unbelievable!

Agh! How annoying if you decide to take that "short cut". Lol.

The internet seems to disagree: http://www.hellosanantonio.com/neighborhoods/Third-World_San-antonio_TX.cfm Although that doesn't mean anything. Google has invented a similar anomaly where I grew up... it's been there for years on Google maps! Of course now we have websites dedicated to this fictitious place. Oddly there doesn't seem to be anyone complaining about it in San Antonio (except for you). You'd think there'd be more questions.

Wow. Pretty incredible.... How many hours alone.........?

Oh cool. I was going to play through that old game, too. I played through the original some time ago and intended to go forward to MG2 in order to appreciate the whole story, and how the games progressed. I did make a start at it, but I remember being surprised at how much of a step up, in terms of complexity, the sequel was, and got a bit put off. It's amazing how much of the details of the new games were already present in the 8-bit originals.

No worries, I was only kidding.

It was ok. I feel strangely underwhelmed. Surprising to see someone I vaguely recognize in it, though. Also: I've been around long before there was an idea for a podcast... I just . There, I said it! (Braces for ostracism and/or stoning.)

I don't really see what's so odd about this...? There's a lot of places with really unintentionally funky names.

Yes, but he said two of the universities he wanted to study at... He made it sound as though Oxford was second place to those two (at least, that's how I read it). I understand the slap in the face feeling, though. Not fun.

Their back and forth is brilliant. I personally loved the original radio show (which was then turned into Season 1), and Season 2. But they're great characters to spend time around.

What a lovely story. I feel about a million miles away from people involved in such things, and it's not nice.
-
Wow. It really is all fun and games until someone loses an eye. Ouch!
-
You had two universities placed higher than Oxford? What were they, out of interest?

Looks like I need to practice speaking British English, I'm WAY off!

I've just gone and booked 10 week's worth of Norwegian lessons. Sure, it was expensive, and sure, none of my friends or family will be getting Christmas gifts this year, and yes, it'll mean I'm dangerously close to being evicted in the coldest Winter my country has seen in years, but I just know you wouldn't let me down.

Nope.

If they did, somebody didn't post about it...

Well done, sir I once entered a video game competition, and even though I'd practised the game in question (Pinball Fantasies) for hour and HOURS and HOURS beforehand, as soon as I got in front the monitor to do my take my "official" turn... I totally freaked out. My heart was in my mouth and I got one of the worst scores I've ever gotten. Really embarrassing.

Awesome TED Talks (and similar enlightening lectures)

This is the eternal entertainment paradox. I don't know how to get around it other than to avoid what anyone says about anything I haven't already experienced. It's really hard when it's the other way around, too. I have one friend in particular who takes ANY recommendation as being "this is the best things I've ever seen EVER!!!". So when he eventually gets around to seeing it he's ALWAYS, "I didn't think it was THAT good." -
Wow, you really missed the boat. Lol.
