West Wing fans... how do the Seasons play out? I imagine it starts strong, but it ran for so long that I'm sure it faltered at some point. Anyone know when? It's one thing to be disappointed when a show ends, but in a way it's weird it's worse when you discover that only the first three seasons are any good, and the rest just break your heart.

I saw a demo on this last Friday and, yeah, it's pretty nifty. But to be honest I can't see how it would improve a game in any way, and I'd probably just turn it off after a while. Clever tech though.

Huh. I did not know that. Well they emailed me asking for permission to use the guide on their site, in return for some "compensation". I said, "ok", but then they dragged their feet, so I left it. I think the original idea was to host these guides for their old games. (A pretty dumb idea, if you ask me, as they would only get inundated with complaints if one of the patch authors accidentally fucked something up -- presumably they realised this and went with a link?) Also: That must explain this! Gog.com were going to do something with my Planescape: Torment guide, too. But I've not heard from them, so that might not be happening. Still, exciting!
