Battlestar Galactica (BSG) and spinoffs

No, I wouldn't say so, either. Weird way to describe it, to be honest. -
I really wanted to love it... but isn't that just the same move over and over? Maybe I don't know enough about canoeing to judge adequately.

what is this place???
-
Man, that sounds incredibly awesome. Well done!

I know. What's your point...? Actually, given, as Orvidos, has just pointed out, that they both use the same engine, which game offers the most enjoyable "hiding in the bushes, setting traps, sneaking around, good enemy AI/physics" experience? Out of Far-Cry 2 and all the Crysis games? Does Far-Cry 2 still win?
-
Crysis. (We all know that Far-Cry 2 is the Far-Cry of Idle Thumbs, right?)
-
When I played the Crysis demo I did love sneaking through bushes and setting up traps for approaching bad guys, relying on the AI and physics. It was a lot of fun. Now there's several Crysis games, right? If I were to only play one, which should it be?

There's a truth to that!

Hmm! More positive noises from players...

I've heard so many great things about Berlin, shame you haven't found any of them. Apparently.
-
I watched that recently, too. Still a great movie. Sellers as the British RAF pilot is amazing. But there's so many funny moments in that film. Sellers was originally supposed to play the Texan pilot, but he and Kubrick had a falling out (and he sprained his ankle) so Slim Pickens got drafted in... he was great, too. Such a great movie.
-
Hehe. This is actually quite fun.

Lord Henry was the most corrupted character and, really, everything about that books smacks of "this is the author's voice", because nothing is ever really challenged, it's only frowned upon by the other characters. If anything, that's kind of the point of the book, to take a little dance with the devil. At least, as I've begun to understand it.

If only notch had the money to hire a development team, etc, etc... -
Can I just ask for a second opinion regarding the book and the movie: Is there really no way the film can spoil the book for me? (A simple yes or no from someone familiar with both would be appreciated! )
-
Kind of. There's definitely moments where you hear the father's voice in the girl's dialogue. ("Oh yeah, baby!", etc.) Still, aside from that, you do get an insight into her young brain: And it's a shocking mess that makes no sense. And it's a delightful, innocent, and whimsical place. Makes you wish for those halcyon days when your biggest concern was going to school (although school pretty much sucked, so it wasn't all rainbows and ponycorns).

Oh. Uh. Damn. Yes, I though the same. It seemed really forced and fake, but it was amusing none-the-less.
-
I haven't. I've been waiting for this day!
-
Definitely amusing. A bit like . Factoid: If you saw it in the cinema you would have seen one of the endings. Apparently they randomly distributed different prints, with different endings, to different cinemas.
-
Sounds like this might actually be worth its own thread?
-
If you make it to the end, there's actually a very good reason why someone who had gone to all that trouble wouldn't have bothered to face the right way. It's quite amusing, actually
