Don't forget about that one puzzle everyone complains about.
-
Apparently I need to watch this... Welcome back, dude.
-
An explanation is required... Scary!
-
Been to the "Post your face thread" lately?
-
That's awesome. Got any photos?
-
Weird. Sounds like MS dropped the ball twice.
-
It's a beautiful movie, hope you enjoy it.

Is the love between adbots and naked Norwegian men really that unnatural?
-
One thing, actually. At least one of the short stories is set in the same universe, IIRC. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ladies-Grace-Adieu-Susanna-Clarke/dp/0747587035

Holy crappers. I was just reading about Babylon 5. Apparently the creator wrote 92 out of the 110 episodes, notably including an unbroken 59-episode run through the third and fourth seasons, and all but one episode of the fifth season. How is this even possible? Was the writing any good?
-
Huh, well there you go. Looks like someone in Microsoft's legal team dropped the ball after all.

Wow, cool, not sure if the film didn't go further than that, though. I seem to remember "circus orangutan" being an answer he gave... Which goes far beyond wanting ice cream. Still, that's pretty impressive.

It does pick up pace, and the last "book" is pretty much a huge ending. I did enjoy the atmosphere a lot, though, so I was probably quite forgiving.
-
Awesome, thanks for that. I had no idea you wrote for Den of Geek. Nice one. Also, nice interview. Lots of great questions. I note the use of "performance capture" instead of "motion capture" -- Andy Serkis would be pleased with you!
-
Apparently not. I speculate it's because Shafer's more of an artist than a businessman, which just made it harder for his fellow artists under him. I'll pick it up and find out.

Zombie Cow. Apes: I quite enjoyed it, but I felt a bit let down. I think my expectations were too high. The stuff with Serkis was fantastic, and Lithgow was great, too. The story was intimate and worked... but for the things I didn't like: It didn't have anything poignant to say (unlike the original -- which at least attempted it) and James Franco's character didn't really have an ending to his story... or even much of a story to begin with. I also thought was pretty unexciting... although the post-credits sequence was very cool. To nit pick: It sometimes drifted into sci-fi when it didn't need to. For example, normal regular orangutans being able to hold conversations through sign-language... Or unnecessary CGI: Apes jumping through endless windows without so much as a scratch or, indeed, any difficulty. The corporate greed angle didn't work for me, either. The throw-backs to the original felt horribly forced, too. But for the Caesar story, I did enjoy it. So what are they planning for the sequel? I'm eager to know.

Ha! It's funny that you didn't have any problems with Moby Dick, but you think Jonathan Strange is slow going... I think they're the same in that you've got to find a way to enjoy the atmosphere. For me I thought that JS captured that pre-winter feeling here in London very well, but it is slow, for sure.

Me, too. Or a link? (Is there a way to get this that doesn't require an Apple device?)
-
Ooh. What's that?
-
I think so. Happy to put this while thing to bed, too!

Yep. I also hated the mother and how she didn't look after her son. But there was also the stuff Rodi said, too.

Also, Unstoppable wasn't too bad.

Thanks, guys. That's how I wanted to play it, but I could never find anyone to talk to who had something to say, or a quest to give.
