Ok, it makes sense now. They're afraid that the 3D of the 3DS is going to be seen as a boring gimmick and that will be killed by the Vita... so they're doing everything they can to "beat" (catch up to) the Vita. I see. I thought the 3DS had been pretty popular, I'm surprised that they're freaking out so much... but then again, I totally agree with the gimmickness of the 3D.

Why do they care so much about a few extra buttons? Is the new Mario game in need of them or something? Nintendo are definitely acting weird. First the price drop, now this? Hmm.

From what I can see, Espenson only worked on the pilot episode. That's enough for someone to get a created by credit. Still, shame to hear it's getting such a mixed response here, though.

Interesting feedback by everyone. It's good to know that there's only 4 of these (apparently) terrible boss missions. I nearly got talked out of buying this from shammack's complaints, but other people's comments have managed to sway me back around again.

I've always found it a lot more enjoyable with the voice acting turned on -- especially when I got used to Doug Lee's voice. I never thought that game's dialogue lent itself to reading, oddly enough (too dry). Hal Barwood didn't like how they camped up certain things, though (the German scientist, etc.).

You're kidding?? I've suddenly lost my irrational fear of spiders! Why couldn't have someone informed me of this fact sooner?? Some of us equate seeing horrific imagery of spiders with seeing horrific images. Yes, it's dumb. Yes, it's irrational. Yes, we're lame. But we're not asking a lot here.

Here's what I got from the video, to make sure we're talking about the same thing: If you don't buy the Augmented Edition you miss out on a lot of game-changing stuff. Missions, weapons, items... that all add to the experience, and that go beyond normal "bonuses" that don't alter gameplay. In other words: You kind of have to buy the AE if you want to play the "full" game. (Personally I would like to be able to see objects highlighted... I don't enjoy searching for things.)

Stupid portrayal of time travel...? Who has the fighting trousers? Actually I'm pretty sure I came up with valid reasons why the aliens could act the way they did and still be equally as smart/more intelligent than humans: They're army aliens. They're not there to ask questions. Also the aliens in C&A where shown to be quite scientific, doing experiments on humans, etc. Right?

Is there some truth to this? I still haven't picked up the game.

Yeah, Doug Lee isn't the greatest, but if you try and forget he's trying to be Harrison Ford and just accept him for who he is, the game gets a lot more enjoyable.

I love how people on this forum actually respect others, and don't stoop to posting something designed to upset people in order to get an easy laugh. It's such a refreshing change from the rest of the internet.
